Yummy!!!!

What a wonderful way to start out my day, a surprise Valentine gift form my son, Alex.   I thought I heard someone at my door and was I ever surprised to see a Delivery Man standing on my deck with something in his hand---and that wonderful something was a fabulous treat from 'Edible Arrangements'.   Yum yum yum!!

This is the first time I have every received one of these arrangements and I'm very impressed.  The fruits are all very fresh and the chocolate that they use for the dipping is yummy!    Here are some pictures of my arrangement, which is now in my fridge!

I have already tried on of the strawberries and a few grapes and they taste soooo good!  I'm going to save the rest to share with my family as a special treat for all.    This year I did not make any special treats, I made them all handmade cards, but no gifts or candy!  I'm so touched by Alex's wonderful gift and will be very happy to share it with everyone!!   Thanks Alex you made my day!!   Love you always -- Mom!!

I have only one card to share today and this one was created for the new Color Combo Challenge being hosted at The Outlawz.  I have copied over a picture of the inspiration image and our challenge was to also included some checkered print paper/element on our card.

My Card

The card was very easy to make, but also fun!  I decided to make a Birthday Card and it will be one that is added to my collection for Operation Write Home!!

I hope you ALL have a Valentine's Day and that it's a day filled with smiles, happiness and lots of LOVE!!

A Little About Me

Purple is my favorite color and ironically - Purple is the Awareness Ribbon color for Fibromyalgia, an illness I personally live with. I had to stop working in 2006 due to Fibro and Degenerative Disc Disease. It's been a tough road at times, but I have a wonderful family and fantastic friends. I am a Mom to two awesome sons (Ages 21 and 26) and a wife and friend to a wonderful Hubby. We live in a tiny coastal community in Massachusetts and have lived here all my life. My hubby and my boys are my whole world and mean every thing to me! I cherish all three of my guys!! I am very lucky to be blessed with wonderful friends. I adore and cherish each of my friends as much as my family! I am an avid card-maker and love all types and stamping, and also love coloring with my Copics. I'm very lucky to have this whole new world on online friends that I've met through my Craft Groups. HUGS TO YOU ALL!!
