I am so happy to let everyone know that my Mom's surgery is over and that she did excellent!!!!

Today is Post-Op Day 1and seeing her todsy is so much better than it was yesterday.  Many of her tubes are out snd she is in s recliner now.  She may be able to get up for a walk later.

It is truly amazing to know what has been done and how well she will improve each day.

Special thanks for All the wonderful thoughts and prayers.  I am blessed with wonderful friendships.

  1. Lisa, I'm very glad to hear that your mother's surgery went well. Your right about life changing in an instant and always catches us by surprise. I haven't seen you around since we've moved away from the CDB ning network. We now have a Facebook group where many of us are chatting. We also started up the blog where we are doing weekly challenges. I also noticed that you've signed up for the Clean & Simple 2 card class. I'll be there too.

  4. Lisa, so great to hear Mom is doing so much better. I know that is a big load off of your mind now that the surgery is done and over with. By the sound of it she will be up and out in no time, enjoying life and all her little trips here and there. I will keep her in my thoughts. You take care of your self.

A Little About Me

My Photo
Northeastern, Massachusetts, United States
Purple is my favorite color and ironically - Purple is the Awareness Ribbon color for Fibromyalgia, an illness I personally live with. I had to stop working in 2006 due to Fibro and Degenerative Disc Disease. It's been a tough road at times, but I have a wonderful family and fantastic friends. I am a Mom to two awesome sons (Ages 21 and 26) and a wife and friend to a wonderful Hubby. We live in a tiny coastal community in Massachusetts and have lived here all my life. My hubby and my boys are my whole world and mean every thing to me! I cherish all three of my guys!! I am very lucky to be blessed with wonderful friends. I adore and cherish each of my friends as much as my family! I am an avid card-maker and love all types and stamping, and also love coloring with my Copics. I'm very lucky to have this whole new world on online friends that I've met through my Craft Groups. HUGS TO YOU ALL!!
