My card features a sweet little digi image from By Lori Designs and this is little "Nellie" one of Lori's adorable Spoonful images.  She was colored with Copics and my card design was based on the sketch provided and done a Spring color them.   I was very happy and excited to learn my card was being published!  My thanks to Suzanne Dean and Marti Wills for choosing one of my cards for the Magazine.

I had my very first card published in the Sept./Oct. 2010  Issue of  'Through The Classroom Door' - Page 10.   'Through the Craftroom Door' is a Crafting Publication by Suzanne J. Dean and Marti Willis.

The card was created in a Thanksgiving Theme and was based on a Sketch by Suzanne Dean.  My card features a cute little Turkey Rubber Stamp from Great Impressions.   The image was colored with Copics layered onto multiple scalloped circles that I cut in my Cuttlebug with a Spellbinder Scalloped Circle die.  My cardstock is from Bazzill and my papers are from Basic Grey/Indian Summer.  The cute little 'Gobble Gobble Gobble'  is a digital sentiment from Pink Cat Studio.

A Little About Me

My Photo

Purple is my favorite color and ironically - Purple is the Awareness Ribbon color for Fibromyalgia, an illness I personally live with. I had to stop working in 2006 due to Fibro and Degenerative Disc Disease. It's been a tough road at times, but I have a wonderful family and fantastic friends. I am a Mom to two awesome sons (Ages 21 and 26) and a wife and friend to a wonderful Hubby. We live in a tiny coastal community in Massachusetts and have lived here all my life. My hubby and my boys are my whole world and mean every thing to me! I cherish all three of my guys!! I am very lucky to be blessed with wonderful friends. I adore and cherish each of my friends as much as my family! I am an avid card-maker and love all types and stamping, and also love coloring with my Copics. I'm very lucky to have this whole new world on online friends that I've met through my Craft Groups. HUGS TO YOU ALL!!
