Snoozing......

I'm having one of those wiped out kind of days and instead of fighting the fatigue, I think I'm going to five in an even take a nice little nap this afternoon.   I'm also going to take a few days off from my blog to give my neck a rest and also so that I can catch up on some projects I've been excited to work on.

I'll be back in a few days and hopefully will have some new things to share.   In the meantime, my current projects are to work on my March Card Kit that arrived earlier this week from Simon Says Stamp!!  And, I also want to get started on my     I'm also working on my very first Mixed Media Challenge over at CMC!  I am super excited to play with my new Tim Holtz® Distress™ Markers which arrived in today's mail.    If you have any of the new markers are are looking for a color swatch sheet, I found one a downloadable PDF file over at Ranger's site - HERE!!

Hope you all are having a great week, and as always.....
Happy Crafting!!!

Sorry to hear that you are not feeling well. You have Fibromyalgia?? I know that is super painful because my mom used to have it. I hope you get some crafting time in.. you said you were super excited to start on the simon says kit. Lucky girl to have the distress markers. Love your blog, all the beautiful purple and your cards are so lovely. Sending cyber hugs to you, Kathy

Hope you get rested and enjoy your new markers. I'm anxious to hear how you like them. I am trying to decide if I want to get them. Can't wait to see what you come up with using them. Take care and get some rest.

A Little About Me

Purple is my favorite color and ironically - Purple is the Awareness Ribbon color for Fibromyalgia, a chronic illness I lived with for over 18 years. In, March of 2015, I was diagnosed with Stage IV Lung Cancer which had spread to my brain. I am fighting hard to win this battle and determined to beat it. I have a amazing Oncology Team, along with the LOVE and SUPPORT of all my family and friends! I am a Mom to two grown sons, Alex is now 25 and married to Acacia, my wonderful new "Daughter" and the parents to my precious Grand-Daughter Harper, and Brian amazingly is 30 and now lives in San Diego. My boys are the greatest loves of my life. Hubby, me and our two "Pups", Skye and Zeva, two adorable Chiweenies we rescued in 2012, all live very happily in a tiny coastal town in Massachusetts. We lost our dear "Scoutie", a Purebred Dachshund, in April of 2015. I still miss him and will forever cherish his memory. I am an avid card-maker and totally love every minute I can spend in my craft room. It's become my passion, a wonderful way to relax and is my form or "therapy".
