I made my cash donation today and also will be writing to Amber about a craft supply donation, as well as making a card for one of the children.   I'm so happy that I found her site and am very happy to do my little part to help out!!

we were coming out of a movie when we received the news about this. I just broke down and cried. all of us then went to the car and prayed. we need to hold onto each person close to us and tell them as often as we can how much we love them.

you are a special friend, Lisa! Merry Christmas to you and your family! :)

It's so terrible...it's so sad....it's so wrong...it was so pointless. And, yes, I make it a point to tell my friends and love ones as often as possible and usually each morning how much I love them.

It's still very hard to comprehend and my heart is broken for everyone who has been touched by this horrific tragedy!

I feel like everyone does, so sad and helpless. This tragedy is just too much to comprehend, as you say, Lisa. Praying for the grief-stricken families and looking for hope in the beauty and goodness that always conquers evil.

Perfect CAS cards for OWH....I really would like to try and get bak into doing some OWH cards. I love all your Valentine cards and so many different styles which I would find harder to do. I LOVE them all!

A Little About Me

My photo
Northeastern, Massachusetts, United States
Purple is my favorite color and ironically - Purple is the Awareness Ribbon color for Fibromyalgia, a chronic illness I lived with for over 18 years. In, March of 2015, I was diagnosed with Stage IV Lung Cancer which had spread to my brain. I am fighting hard to win this battle and determined to beat it. I have a amazing Oncology Team, along with the LOVE and SUPPORT of all my family and friends! I am a Mom to two grown sons, Alex is now 25 and married to Acacia, my wonderful new "Daughter" and the parents to my precious Grand-Daughter Harper, and Brian amazingly is 30 and now lives in San Diego. My boys are the greatest loves of my life. Hubby, me and our two "Pups", Skye and Zeva, two adorable Chiweenies we rescued in 2012, all live very happily in a tiny coastal town in Massachusetts. We lost our dear "Scoutie", a Purebred Dachshund, in April of 2015. I still miss him and will forever cherish his memory. I am an avid card-maker and totally love every minute I can spend in my craft room. It's become my passion, a wonderful way to relax and is my form or "therapy".
