LOVE....

....is such an important word and it's exactly that word that first came to my mind today, when I decided to play in this week's challenge as CASology.

I have so much love in my heart and loving and caring for people is something I so enjoy.  To me it's the best feeling in the world and also can be one of the most heartbreaking....!     ....and that is when you lose someone you love...those are the hardest times in life and as I wrote in my post yesterday, I have been through that experience far too many times in my life and most of that pain and hurt for me has happened in the month of April.

Now, to add the horrific events of this week's tragedy at the Boston Marathon, makes it another very tough day and I can only HOPE that there will not be anymore sad and upsetting days in April.

Today, I want to share LOVE and tell my friends and my family how much I do LOVE them and cherish having them in my life.  I can't imagine my life without some of them, especially my boys are are my greatest loves.   I have already lost one child, albeit and infant daughter who I never was even able to bring home.   My sweet baby "Kristyn Alyssa" was taken from me at birth and that was 22 years ago tomorrow...and it was by far one of the most difficult days in my life.

Today, I want to focus on the good and the LOVE that I have in my heart and that's what I am trying to share in this very simply card!!

Love is vital and in many ways as the old Beatles song says --- ALL you need is LOVE!!!

All You Need Is Love
Love, love, love.
Love, love, love.
Love, love, love.

There's nothing you can do that can't be done.
Nothing you can sing that can't be sung.
Nothing you can say but you can learn how to play the game.
It's easy.

Nothing you can make that can't be made.
No one you can save that can't be saved.
Nothing you can do, but you can learn how to be you in time.
It's easy

All you need is love.
All you need is love.
All you need is love, love.
Love is all you need.

All you need is love.
All you need is love.
All you need is love, love.
Love is all you need.

There's nothing you can know that isn't known.
Nothing you can see that isn't shown.
Nowhere you can be that isn't where you're meant to be. It's easy

All you need is love.
All you need is love.
All you need is love, love.
Love is all you need.

All you need is love.
All you need is love.
All you need is love, love.
Love is all you need.

Love is all you need.
Love is all you need.
Love is all you need.
Love is all you need.
  Love is all you need...

Your words about family are very powerful and the perfect reminder to all of us to tell people we love them while we can. I love the clean-ness of your window card, too! Thanks so much for playing along with us at CASology this week!

Your card is very smart looking. I love it. It's strange how we all have certain months to times of the year that bring so much sadness. I'm sorry your's is April, It can be such a pretty month and yet for you it can be very dull and drab.

Lisa, I am sorry that April is such a hard month for you. I'm hoping that celebrating Brian's birthday brought you joy and happiness and LOVE. Your card for this weeks challenge is beautiful and I love that it's purple! Thanks for playing along with CASology this week!

A Little About Me

My photo
Northeastern, Massachusetts, United States
Purple is my favorite color and ironically - Purple is the Awareness Ribbon color for Fibromyalgia, a chronic illness I lived with for over 18 years. In, March of 2015, I was diagnosed with Stage IV Lung Cancer which had spread to my brain. I am fighting hard to win this battle and determined to beat it. I have a amazing Oncology Team, along with the LOVE and SUPPORT of all my family and friends! I am a Mom to two grown sons, Alex is now 25 and married to Acacia, my wonderful new "Daughter" and the parents to my precious Grand-Daughter Harper, and Brian amazingly is 30 and now lives in San Diego. My boys are the greatest loves of my life. Hubby, me and our two "Pups", Skye and Zeva, two adorable Chiweenies we rescued in 2012, all live very happily in a tiny coastal town in Massachusetts. We lost our dear "Scoutie", a Purebred Dachshund, in April of 2015. I still miss him and will forever cherish his memory. I am an avid card-maker and totally love every minute I can spend in my craft room. It's become my passion, a wonderful way to relax and is my form or "therapy".
