Alex has his new Jeep and it's Nice!!

Alex's Grand Cherokee Laredo
Very Nice!!

After spending half the day yesterday running to our car insurance agent, then to the dealer to pay and next the RMV, we later found out that they dealer had not finished getting the JEEP ready for us and so after all our waiting, we had to come home without it.

What a Bummer and I was not a happy camper, especially after they called in the morning and told us that it WOULD be ready. We even left and went off to the Burlington Mall for two hours to kill time in the hopes that they would have it all set. But, they didn't and Alex was not any more thrilled than I was to come all the way back home without it.

The only good thing about the whole trip, was going to Macy's and finding they had the NEW Bobbi Brown Platinum Shimmer Brick that I had wanted to buy. I did get that and we also browsed a bunch of stores there and we went to the Food Pavilion for lunch too. Alex had two slices of Pizza and I got a simply salad and water.

Then today, I spend until almost 1PM anxiously awaiting the call to say the Jeep was ready, at last. Packey came home form work early and the three of us headed to up to get it about 2:30. Luckily, it was all ready. We simply had to attach the new plates and we were off. I drove half-way home, just to be sure there didn't' seem to be any problems and because that part of 95 is so BUSY and hectic and knowing HOW much I hate it, I didn't' feel comfy with Alex driving, but once we got to our Mall, he drove the rest of the way and ALL was find.

Now, I pray he takes excellent care of it and has no problems. It's very nice and he's worked hard to get it. Tomorrow, ironically is his Birthday, so what a wonderful gift he know has. I can sleep in again too...at last and that makes life so much better for me!

I'm still behind on my Project 365 and my cards in general from being away, but I hope to catch up soon. I'm working on a 2 page Layout form the Beauty Bash trip and I am almost done. Once I finish that I'll be up to date and then need to get right to work on this week's page!!

So...that's the BIG and exciting news for today and it's sure a good day and NICE to have Alex back in his own vehicle again!! Yippee!!

A Little About Me

My photo
Northeastern, Massachusetts, United States
Purple is my favorite color and ironically - Purple is the Awareness Ribbon color for Fibromyalgia, a chronic illness I lived with for over 18 years. In, March of 2015, I was diagnosed with Stage IV Lung Cancer which had spread to my brain. I am fighting hard to win this battle and determined to beat it. I have a amazing Oncology Team, along with the LOVE and SUPPORT of all my family and friends! I am a Mom to two grown sons, Alex is now 25 and married to Acacia, my wonderful new "Daughter" and the parents to my precious Grand-Daughter Harper, and Brian amazingly is 30 and now lives in San Diego. My boys are the greatest loves of my life. Hubby, me and our two "Pups", Skye and Zeva, two adorable Chiweenies we rescued in 2012, all live very happily in a tiny coastal town in Massachusetts. We lost our dear "Scoutie", a Purebred Dachshund, in April of 2015. I still miss him and will forever cherish his memory. I am an avid card-maker and totally love every minute I can spend in my craft room. It's become my passion, a wonderful way to relax and is my form or "therapy".
