I was very excited to get to work on a new card for a great challenge I found like night over at The Cuttlebug Spot. As soon as I saw it and some of the wonderful cards the DT created, I knew I wanted to try it. It's really quite a simple idea and I was totally inspired once it saw how fun it looked and I knew I have everything I needed. And if you have a Cuttlebug, and some of those little 2" X2" Embossing/Die Folders, than you too can make a card for this challenge. I now have so many FUN ideas and I'm so happy with how much fun this turned out to be.
I started by cutting a bunch of 2X2" squares from extra pieces of scrap cardstock. I then took out a stack of my little 2" folders/dies and began emobssing and cutting various images and shapes. I think I ended up cutting/embossing about 50 little squares, which I'm going to use. Once I had all my little squares, I simply needed to come up with a design for me card. I played around with a few ideas and in the end, I decided to make my card with a variety of fun summer colors and chose a plain white square card as my base and here is my card!
