It's been so nice to sleep with the windows open and to not have to run the AC non-stop, but I think that will soon end, so I took advantage of the drier weather to catch up on chores this morning. My house kind of suffers in the Summer, as I just do NOT want to spend a lot of time cleaning when it's really hot, but today I did pick up a bit and it looks nice and neat again. I love it when my house is very neat and clean - it makes me feel better!
Now, I am relaxing in my craft room and just finished up my first card for today. This card is my 'Happy Birthday USA' card and I had a lot of fun putting it together this morning. We are supposed to experience a cooling trend over the weekend here and the high temps will dip to below 110 degrees for a few days. I miss the windows being open and the cool breeze too.

Don't you just love those Copics. They color so nice. Your turtle is looking like I am feeling. I can hear fireworks off in the distance but I am home snug as a bug.
