Woohoo! My good luck continues!!

....What a great time I had last night over that the Live Chat and Scavenger Hunt over at the 'Through the Craft Room Door' site.   It was a special event held for those of use who all subscribe to this wonderful publication by Suzanne Dean and Marti Wills.  If you are not yet a subscriber, you can sign up at the link above and then you'll also have access to the 'Member Only' site too!

This is the wonderful magazine where one of my cards was actually published last month, and it was such a special event for me!  I'll be happy to share it with you next month and look forward to that time.  If you are already a subscriber, you'll find it in on Page 10 of Sept/Oct issue.  I had entered my card into the 1 Sketch 3 Ways challenge and although I did not win, I was one of the lucky entrants who had my card published in that issue, a true honor for me.

I always enjoy LIVE chats and do my best to attend, when I'm feeling well and I was really lucky to be there last night, because I was also one of the lucky prize winners...WooHOO!  I answered the very first question with the correct answer and I will be receiving some wonderful homemade 'Oatmeal Honey soap...doesn't that sounds awesome, I sure think so.  Plus, if you know me, you'll know that I love Oatmeal and eat it often, not only for my health, but because I think it's so yummy!!   My thanks to both Marti and Suzanne for the really fun Chat and also for choosing one of my cards for the magazine last month!

This morning, I received a wonderful comment from my friend, Jan Hunnicutt to tell me, I was the lucky winner of the 'Flower Parade Challenge' hosted by Michelle Perkett on her wonderful Challenge blog.  Yippee!!  What a wonderful surprise and I was so exciting to go over and see my card featured on the blog!  WOWweeeee!!   What a fabulous treat and I feel very lucky!!   My special thanks to Michelle for her wonderful images, for hosting the challenges and also for featuring my card on her blogWOOHOO!   I am so excited to have two won two wonderful prizes within matter of one day...what a big smile I have on my face today!!!   THANK YOU!!    This is the card that I submitted and I LOVE this fabulous image which you too can own, you'll find it in Michelle's Etsy Store - Here!

A Little About Me

My photo

Purple is my favorite color and ironically - Purple is the Awareness Ribbon color for Fibromyalgia, a chronic illness I lived with for over 18 years. In, March of 2015, I was diagnosed with Stage IV Lung Cancer which had spread to my brain. I am fighting hard to win this battle and determined to beat it. I have a amazing Oncology Team, along with the LOVE and SUPPORT of all my family and friends! I am a Mom to two grown sons, Alex is now 25 and married to Acacia, my wonderful new "Daughter" and the parents to my precious Grand-Daughter Harper, and Brian amazingly is 30 and now lives in San Diego. My boys are the greatest loves of my life. Hubby, me and our two "Pups", Skye and Zeva, two adorable Chiweenies we rescued in 2012, all live very happily in a tiny coastal town in Massachusetts. We lost our dear "Scoutie", a Purebred Dachshund, in April of 2015. I still miss him and will forever cherish his memory. I am an avid card-maker and totally love every minute I can spend in my craft room. It's become my passion, a wonderful way to relax and is my form or "therapy".
