Happy Wednesday!!!

....What a difference a day can make, and today is so much better than yesterday.  The sun is shining, the temps are a bit warmer, and my neck pain is better too.   I'm happy and it's great to feel better.

Today, I'm back to creating and have one cute card I made to share with you now.  I have made more, but they are for some upcoming Design Team projects - so please stay tuned for most posts later this week.

This fun card was created for some new challenges and my design was inspired by a sketch from this week's challenge at 'Cards for Men', which you will find HERE!   I want to thank my friend Patricia from the Copic Color Me Classroom - for inviting me to join this fun challenge!!   NOTE:  This is a copy of the sketch from the challenge site, that I copied over to share with you all!!

The is my card that I created based on the Sketch!!

My image is a one of the adorable Lenny Bears from StampFairy!

This fun card is being submitted to these challenges and I invite you all go join me!!

I would also like to remind you to join me for StampFairy's current Blog Hop and Challenge and you can find all the details for our very first Blog Hop on my main page HERE or over at the StampFairy Challenge Blog!!

And lastly, we will have a brand new Challenge and an adorable new release coming up next week over at Baby Bud Designs.  Be sure to stop back on Monday for all the new details.  It's going to be a lot of fun!    I would also like to Congratulate Billie, for being the Winner of our last challenge!   You can find her adorable card HERE!!!

Ugh....Not a good day!!

Grrr!  Why does the computer make my neck and back hurt so much?  What is it about having Fibro...that makes typing, so difficult and causing so much pain!   Grrrr!    I am so not in a good mood and it's all from the pain of Fibro and how just one day of spending a little too much time online can do me in!!  Grrr!!  It just bugs me at times, and today is one of those days!!

On the upside, I did spend a lot of time, sitting back today and simply coloring with my Copics and for me, that's about as relaxed as I can be and coloring is also such a joy.  I love card-making so much and even on these bad days, I'm always thankful when I can color!   I just wish there was an easy way to post my cards, keep my blog updated and take parts in lots of challenges and do it without having to be online?  But... I haven't figured that out...at least not yet!

I am Happy to be here quickly to share one card that I did complete for this week's new Color Challenge over at ColourQ!    I also am sharing a copy of the color inspiration from the challenge blog, and hope it will inspire you, like it did me.  s soon s I saw the colors I knew I wanted to play!  The color of sunshine and blue skies is what I first though of....two of my favorite things!  :)

This is my newest card based on cQc  # 66 and features a very sweet image that was designed by Hannah Boyd, the talented daughter of Lori Boyd.  Hannah has now started her own digi line, called the Bug & Roo Collection!   She created one of her images in honor of two special babies!  - You can find the bittersweet story of  Jakin and Shyla over at this wonderful blog!     I was truly touched by reading their story and it reminded me of losing my own infant daughter 'Kristyn Alyssa' back in 1991.  The true heartbreak of losing a infant is a pain so deep, that it's so hard for most people to ever begin to comprehend  it.  Sadly, I also know that pain, and that is why I think I'm so touched by this story and that fact that all the proceeds from the Jakin & Shyla image are being donated by Hannah to the March of Dimes.  Isn't' that wonderful!  I sure think so and that's why I bought these images the very first time I saw them.  For this card I am using only the little boy (Jakin) baby, but have used both in other cards...they are very cute!  :)

And that is it for me for today!  I did color a few more images and feel a bit better this afternoon, but I'm not going to push my luck again, so I'm off now to rest and hope tomorrow will be a better day!

Happy Sunday!!

How are you doing today?  Did everyone enjoy their first day of 2011, I know I did and it was simply a nice relaxing day.  I thought about putting away all the Christmas things, but wanted to rest and relax instead that is just what we did.

Today, I am also having a peaceful and quiet day.  I am working ahead on some Design Team projects and also on some cards for fun and today I started with a new sketch Challenge over at the OWH Stars & Stamps Blog.  I have been a bit behind in my OWH card and really missed having the time to take part in the challenges, especially the sketch challenge which they host every Sunday.

I have copied over this week's sketch to share and hope it will inspired you to join this fun weekly challenge.

And this is my card which I created based off of the sketch with a brand new set of designer papers I picked up at my LSS.  It's a set they put together of matching card stock and papers and I love the colors,  Pink, white, gray and black.   Its' a fun little card and I'm sure any little girl would love to get this card from a Mom or Dad serving in the Military!!  It's also perfect for a sweet new baby too!  My cute little image is digi stamp is from StampFairy.

This card will be adding to my OWH pile and will be included in my next shipment that is sent off!  If you are new to OWH and would like to take part, you can find all the information for card-makers HERE!

I am also submitting my 'Sent with Love' card to these fun challenges -- I invite you all to join in on the fun!

I am off now to work on another card and want to remind you all that today is the last day to submit your card for our weekly challenge over at StampFairy.  You have until 6 PM (EST) this evening to submit your project.   You can find all the details on the blog HERE!   We will also be hosting our very first BLOG HOP and a brand new challenge starting tomorrow.  WooHOO!!  Please stop by tomorrow for all the details, it's going to be an exciting week!

Happy Crafting and have a wonderful Sunday!!

A Little About Me

My photo
Northeastern, Massachusetts, United States
Purple is my favorite color and ironically - Purple is the Awareness Ribbon color for Fibromyalgia, a chronic illness I lived with for over 18 years. In, March of 2015, I was diagnosed with Stage IV Lung Cancer which had spread to my brain. I am fighting hard to win this battle and determined to beat it. I have a amazing Oncology Team, along with the LOVE and SUPPORT of all my family and friends! I am a Mom to two grown sons, Alex is now 25 and married to Acacia, my wonderful new "Daughter" and the parents to my precious Grand-Daughter Harper, and Brian amazingly is 30 and now lives in San Diego. My boys are the greatest loves of my life. Hubby, me and our two "Pups", Skye and Zeva, two adorable Chiweenies we rescued in 2012, all live very happily in a tiny coastal town in Massachusetts. We lost our dear "Scoutie", a Purebred Dachshund, in April of 2015. I still miss him and will forever cherish his memory. I am an avid card-maker and totally love every minute I can spend in my craft room. It's become my passion, a wonderful way to relax and is my form or "therapy".
