Ugh....Not a good day!!

Grrr!  Why does the computer make my neck and back hurt so much?  What is it about having Fibro...that makes typing, so difficult and causing so much pain!   Grrrr!    I am so not in a good mood and it's all from the pain of Fibro and how just one day of spending a little too much time online can do me in!!  Grrr!!  It just bugs me at times, and today is one of those days!!

On the upside, I did spend a lot of time, sitting back today and simply coloring with my Copics and for me, that's about as relaxed as I can be and coloring is also such a joy.  I love card-making so much and even on these bad days, I'm always thankful when I can color!   I just wish there was an easy way to post my cards, keep my blog updated and take parts in lots of challenges and do it without having to be online?  But... I haven't figured that out...at least not yet!

I am Happy to be here quickly to share one card that I did complete for this week's new Color Challenge over at ColourQ!    I also am sharing a copy of the color inspiration from the challenge blog, and hope it will inspire you, like it did me.  s soon s I saw the colors I knew I wanted to play!  The color of sunshine and blue skies is what I first though of....two of my favorite things!  :)

This is my newest card based on cQc  # 66 and features a very sweet image that was designed by Hannah Boyd, the talented daughter of Lori Boyd.  Hannah has now started her own digi line, called the Bug & Roo Collection!   She created one of her images in honor of two special babies!  - You can find the bittersweet story of  Jakin and Shyla over at this wonderful blog!     I was truly touched by reading their story and it reminded me of losing my own infant daughter 'Kristyn Alyssa' back in 1991.  The true heartbreak of losing a infant is a pain so deep, that it's so hard for most people to ever begin to comprehend  it.  Sadly, I also know that pain, and that is why I think I'm so touched by this story and that fact that all the proceeds from the Jakin & Shyla image are being donated by Hannah to the March of Dimes.  Isn't' that wonderful!  I sure think so and that's why I bought these images the very first time I saw them.  For this card I am using only the little boy (Jakin) baby, but have used both in other cards...they are very cute!  :)

And that is it for me for today!  I did color a few more images and feel a bit better this afternoon, but I'm not going to push my luck again, so I'm off now to rest and hope tomorrow will be a better day!

A Little About Me

My photo
Northeastern, Massachusetts, United States
Purple is my favorite color and ironically - Purple is the Awareness Ribbon color for Fibromyalgia, a chronic illness I lived with for over 18 years. In, March of 2015, I was diagnosed with Stage IV Lung Cancer which had spread to my brain. I am fighting hard to win this battle and determined to beat it. I have a amazing Oncology Team, along with the LOVE and SUPPORT of all my family and friends! I am a Mom to two grown sons, Alex is now 25 and married to Acacia, my wonderful new "Daughter" and the parents to my precious Grand-Daughter Harper, and Brian amazingly is 30 and now lives in San Diego. My boys are the greatest loves of my life. Hubby, me and our two "Pups", Skye and Zeva, two adorable Chiweenies we rescued in 2012, all live very happily in a tiny coastal town in Massachusetts. We lost our dear "Scoutie", a Purebred Dachshund, in April of 2015. I still miss him and will forever cherish his memory. I am an avid card-maker and totally love every minute I can spend in my craft room. It's become my passion, a wonderful way to relax and is my form or "therapy".
