Today's Challenge cards!!

Good Morning and Happy Saturday to all my wonderful craft friends.  How are you all doing? I am doing pretty well, despite the heatwave.  Thankfully my Fibro is actually a bit better and so nice to actually feel pretty pretty good...it also makes me happier and feel more upbeat! --  Woohoo!  It's been so nice to spend a lot more time crafting and working on challenges, my favorite thing.

My first card is another card I made after being inspired by this week's challenge over The Cuttlebug Spot, it's not being entered, since I already entered a card, but I really love this whole idea and made this card to add to my OWH box.

   This was the first one....

and this is my newest card
I just love the look and know it'll be an idea I use often.  I have a bunch of 2" X 2" squares all ready cut and embossed and will all make all kinds of other designs and colors.  I had not used those mini folders in ages, but I will now!!

My second card was created for two different challenges and this card was created with another won of the wonderful Lollipop Digi Images designed by Lori Boyd.  I just LOVE them and added two new ones to my collection earlier this. week.  If you would like to have them for your collection, then hope on over to DCRU and add them to you basket.  And while you are there, be sure to check out the  'Getting Ready for CHA Sale'.   My card was actually created for their new challenge, which you can find at here at the Claudia & Co.   It was also created for this week's challenge over at 'The Pink Elephant', which is Lori Boyd's Challenge blog.

The challenge at Claudia & Co is to create a card using Pink and Aqua, the store colors and two of my favorite colors.  And, the challenge at The Pink Elephant is a recipe challenge - 3 Layers, 2 Die Cuts and Ribbon.  I created my card to work out perfectly for both challenges, with the adorable 'Gracie' digi image, designed by Lori and available for sale at DCRU.  She is such a cutie and always makes any card seem happy and fun.  That's also one of the reason why  I love Lori's images so much -- they always make me smile!!
And now I'm off in search of another FUN challenge.  Have you been creating any FUN Challenge cards today?  Do you know of any new challenges that I would like?  If you do, please leave me a comment, so I can check it out!  Thanks!

    Hugs and Happy Crating,
 Lisa

Hi Lisa,
Thank you so much for playing with us this month! Gracie looks adorable, and I love what you did with the ribbon. That polka dot paper is just perfect.

Very cute cards. The first one I couldn't believe how different the heart look by just changing the paper color and found it so interesting. Love aqua and pink too!

A Little About Me

Purple is my favorite color and ironically - Purple is the Awareness Ribbon color for Fibromyalgia, a chronic illness I lived with for over 18 years. In, March of 2015, I was diagnosed with Stage IV Lung Cancer which had spread to my brain. I am fighting hard to win this battle and determined to beat it. I have a amazing Oncology Team, along with the LOVE and SUPPORT of all my family and friends! I am a Mom to two grown sons, Alex is now 25 and married to Acacia, my wonderful new "Daughter" and the parents to my precious Grand-Daughter Harper, and Brian amazingly is 30 and now lives in San Diego. My boys are the greatest loves of my life. Hubby, me and our two "Pups", Skye and Zeva, two adorable Chiweenies we rescued in 2012, all live very happily in a tiny coastal town in Massachusetts. We lost our dear "Scoutie", a Purebred Dachshund, in April of 2015. I still miss him and will forever cherish his memory. I am an avid card-maker and totally love every minute I can spend in my craft room. It's become my passion, a wonderful way to relax and is my form or "therapy".
