A little time off....

....to work on training this precious little pup and also do some organizing in my craft space.    I should be back in a  few days...as long as Skye is good???

But, Mom...it's MY bed and it was a bit too fluffy for me??

In the meantime, I'm also working on cards for the new SCRAMBLE over at the Hero Arts Flickr Group. I am hosting this one and want to INVITE you all to join the fun.   The Scrambles are really fun and a great way to challenge yourself.

Once I announce the theme, you'll have 90 minutes to complete your card/tag and get up posted to the group.  I have a fun them already planned and a great prize too!   Hero Arts also donates a great "digital" prize for a second winner.   It's open to ALL members of the group and everyone is also welcome to join the group, if you are not already a member.

Hope you can find time to join me -- My Scramble is this coming Saturday, June 15th and will start at 2PM Eastern Time!   Please head on over to the Flickr group for more details!!

LOL, Lisa ...based on these pictures I think Skype is winning the fight. How adorable! Those HA Scrambles sounds like such fun. I'm going to make a note of it and maybe jump on in if my schedule allows. Have fun with the reorganization too. I know that for me, organizing my craft stuff always leaves me so energized to create. I hope it does the same for you.

Ohhhhhhhhhhhh, bad doggie - no bone!!!! She's a little stinker to chew up her brand new bed like that! That looks like the kind of pictures I see on these funny websites with sassy captions :) Poor Lisa! I hope you get things under control sooner than later! Hang in there :)

OMG...just too funny. I remember when you brought Skype home. She's right at home now.

She started this from Day one and I would keep putting it back together and even sewed it a few times...but NOT this time. I am done with that and now she's sleep on her Puppy Pocket and has an extra blanket, if needed. I bought her a second bed (the same) on clearance, but it's put away and will stay that way until this Puppy Chewing Phase is OVER!~

A Little About Me

My photo
Northeastern, Massachusetts, United States
Purple is my favorite color and ironically - Purple is the Awareness Ribbon color for Fibromyalgia, a chronic illness I lived with for over 18 years. In, March of 2015, I was diagnosed with Stage IV Lung Cancer which had spread to my brain. I am fighting hard to win this battle and determined to beat it. I have a amazing Oncology Team, along with the LOVE and SUPPORT of all my family and friends! I am a Mom to two grown sons, Alex is now 25 and married to Acacia, my wonderful new "Daughter" and the parents to my precious Grand-Daughter Harper, and Brian amazingly is 30 and now lives in San Diego. My boys are the greatest loves of my life. Hubby, me and our two "Pups", Skye and Zeva, two adorable Chiweenies we rescued in 2012, all live very happily in a tiny coastal town in Massachusetts. We lost our dear "Scoutie", a Purebred Dachshund, in April of 2015. I still miss him and will forever cherish his memory. I am an avid card-maker and totally love every minute I can spend in my craft room. It's become my passion, a wonderful way to relax and is my form or "therapy".
