As I mentioned earlier, I was off to work on the cards for this month's A Year In Cards class over at Two Peas. This month the project was to create three different 'Hello' cards and this is a link to the Video as well as the printable PDF file! Every month one winner is chosen by Random Drawing and that winner received a prize from Kristina and Two Peas!
And these are the Hello cards that I created based on Kristina's inspiration. The best part is that I used a lot of scraps for these card and that is always a good thing. I do not have a lot of alphabet letters and large title type letters, so I used a Hello stamp. They were all fun and very easy to make and will be good cards to have on hand for friends.
And I think that will probably be it for today. My fibro is acting up again and I'm having more pain and aching in my legs again! If that that's not enough, my feet are ALL swollen again too! Geesh! Enough already!! Some days....I really hate this illness and just want to scream and right now is one of them times. I going to go rest a bit and put my feet up! And HOPE tomorrow will be a much better day.

A Little About Me
- ThePurplePlace
- Northeastern, Massachusetts, United States
- Purple is my favorite color and ironically - Purple is the Awareness Ribbon color for Fibromyalgia, a chronic illness I lived with for over 18 years. In, March of 2015, I was diagnosed with Stage IV Lung Cancer which had spread to my brain. I am fighting hard to win this battle and determined to beat it. I have a amazing Oncology Team, along with the LOVE and SUPPORT of all my family and friends! I am a Mom to two grown sons, Alex is now 25 and married to Acacia, my wonderful new "Daughter" and the parents to my precious Grand-Daughter Harper, and Brian amazingly is 30 and now lives in San Diego. My boys are the greatest loves of my life. Hubby, me and our two "Pups", Skye and Zeva, two adorable Chiweenies we rescued in 2012, all live very happily in a tiny coastal town in Massachusetts. We lost our dear "Scoutie", a Purebred Dachshund, in April of 2015. I still miss him and will forever cherish his memory. I am an avid card-maker and totally love every minute I can spend in my craft room. It's become my passion, a wonderful way to relax and is my form or "therapy".

I love these cards! So sweet and as you said simple to do. Some times a lot of coloring and bling doesn't go with the occasion or person. I am going to check out the video! TFS
Thanks Colleen - I Love doing ALL kinds of card-making and as much as I love stamping, I also love to go back to basic card-making and simply using paper and embellishments and stamps for my sentiments. I think you'll really enjoy Kristina's classes and find all kinds of fun new things to create!!
fabulous cards Lisa.. loving the design and colour combos.. amazing work.
Thanks Bev!!
