More cards....

I had a busy Wednesday and never did get a chance to post. so I am trying to catch up now before I start working on some cards.
I was off in the morning, but spent most of the afternoon working on two cards, that were both for challenges over at SSC.  This week's Copic Class taught us all about shadowing and our challenge was to create a project and to be sure to shadow our image.  I decided to make a fun little Birthday Card and my little digi image is WINK, from Pixie Dust Studio.
My second card was created for the Stamp N' Scrap challenge and this week their challenge was to create a MALE card, something that many of us seem to have difficulty with.  I admit myself, that making MALE cards is always hard, although with all the wonderful digi images now out, I'm finding it easier all the time.  For this card my image is this adorable little Cowboy from Bugaboo Stamps, another one of my favorite Digi Stamp stores.
I was actually very happy with how these cards worked out and think all my extra practice, has helped my coloring.  I am off now to work on another card for this week's Color Combo Challenge, also over at SSC.  If you are interested in joining me, these are the colors for this week.
And if you want to really have some fun crafting this weekend, then be sure to head over to Simply Scrapping Crafts for the Fun in the Sun  Crop Party which starts on at 8am Saturday morning!!   The NSD Crop was a blast and I am very much looking forward to this party too!    WooHOO!!

A Little About Me

My photo
Northeastern, Massachusetts, United States
Purple is my favorite color and ironically - Purple is the Awareness Ribbon color for Fibromyalgia, a chronic illness I lived with for over 18 years. In, March of 2015, I was diagnosed with Stage IV Lung Cancer which had spread to my brain. I am fighting hard to win this battle and determined to beat it. I have a amazing Oncology Team, along with the LOVE and SUPPORT of all my family and friends! I am a Mom to two grown sons, Alex is now 25 and married to Acacia, my wonderful new "Daughter" and the parents to my precious Grand-Daughter Harper, and Brian amazingly is 30 and now lives in San Diego. My boys are the greatest loves of my life. Hubby, me and our two "Pups", Skye and Zeva, two adorable Chiweenies we rescued in 2012, all live very happily in a tiny coastal town in Massachusetts. We lost our dear "Scoutie", a Purebred Dachshund, in April of 2015. I still miss him and will forever cherish his memory. I am an avid card-maker and totally love every minute I can spend in my craft room. It's become my passion, a wonderful way to relax and is my form or "therapy".
