I was honored to donate to Lori Boyd's Fundraiser and to purchase this sweet digi that she designed for Katie.
Today, I finished my card and I'll be mailing it out first thing in the morning. I will continue to pray for Katie, Kevin and the boys and hope for a Miracle!!
I also want to thank Lori and all the wonderful members of the craft community who has taken the time to sponsor these Fundraisers for Katie. If you are interested in learning more about the other ways you may be be able to help out - You can also visit HERE or HERE!

My next few pictures are some of the cards that I created this week and never found time to post. The first set are the cards that I made in a Halloween Card Class that I took yesterday at my LSS. It was a nice day to get out and I was really glad I went. The cards are all based on stamps that at sold by Northwoods, which you can see HERE!!And here are a few close-ups of the cards! I really loved these cute card bases (shown best in the orange card below), which come with matching envelopes. I wish I could tell you who makes them, but my Fibro fog has taken over and right now, I can't remember!!
My next two cards are both Christmas Cards and the first one is another one was inspired by the new Holiday Card Series that Kristina Werner is currently hosting on her blog. She has a new video and project each day and they are all really fun and easy to follow along.
This card was based on Day 10 and is a fun and easy card to create. I changed the design a bit to make it work with supplies that I had on hand. I also love this idea, as it's a great way to use scraps!!
And this cute card was inspired by a new Sketch from the Hero Arts blog and was entered into their October Sketch Challenge.
The next card was created for the Copic Coloring Challenge which is currently being hosted over at The Outlawz Group. This week's challenge was inspired by October being Breast Cancer Awareness month and the challenge was to Think Pink!
This is a sweet digi image from Michelle Perkett and it was colored with soft subtle shades of Pink. I also added a hint of glitter for sparkle and layered it on top of white doilies and pink flowers and leaves. Michelle has a wonderful array for lovely images and so many would make wonderful cards for this challenge!
And that's it for now!! I really did not get a lot done this week ! Thankfully, I'm feeling better and today I hope to work on some new challenge cards!! I'm also going back to my LSS next Saturday for a full day of creating and will be attending their Annual Holiday Stamp Camp. We will create a total of 12 projects, all in a Christmas theme. I was torn on this, because that is a LONG day for me, but once I saw some of the samples I knew I wanted to try. Luckily, I can always pack up and bring home things to finish, if it's too long. The class also includes a nice lunch and that will give us a break and time to get up and move around a bit. I'm looking forward to it and I find getting out of the house, is helpful at times. A little fresh air, change of scenery and time spent creating with others. I really LOVE that the most !! It's FUN!!
Hugs to all and extra prayers for Katie!!
