Crazy Creative Weekend!!!

Phew, have I been super busy all weekend and I'll bet you are all thinking okay, show us your new cards. Well this time, you'll all have a wait a bit, since the newest cards I created are for upcoming Design Team projects, that I'll be sharing later this week.    In the meantime, I do plan to create some new "challenge" cards tomorrow, and should have a new post by late in the day.   I also want to remind you that there is still plenty of time for you to join A2Z''s  June "Linky Party" there the theme is Stars and Stripes.  Please go HERE for me details and your chance to win a $25 Gift Certificate to the a2z Scrapbooking Store.

To help inpsire you, this is a  copy of one of the cards that I created and posted on our blog as a DT Member.    It's a card that also now going to be sent off to Operation Write Home, along with several others that I'm in the process of preparing to send out this week.

And I'm very happy to have spend almost ALL day today, working on the latest shipment that will be on it's way to Operation Write Home this week.   I'm not totally done, so I'm not sure how many I'll have all together, but it's something I've fallen very behind on, so I'm really happy that I am pushing myself to get this done.  The inspiration for this, all came from the new "Card Drive" being hosted this month over at the a2z Scrapbookimg Blog, where Elizabeth is asking all our readers to create an "Any Hero" card to send to her, so she can then forward it along to OWH.  And since I'm already an OWH Cardmaker, that was just the extra push I needed to put together my own package, which I've been meaning to get done for weeks now.

If you are would like to donate to A2Z's Any Hero Card Drive, please head on over the blog, where you'll find all the details and the address where you can send you card.   Be sure to also check out this fabulous promo that Sandy Allnock did for us too!  Thank you Sandy.   I am also working on a couple of Hero cards that I'll be donating to Elizabeth to ship out with the a2z batch!

Oh, and speaking of Sandy, I am super excited that I will have the pleasure of meeting her in person later this month, when she will be coming to the East Coast, to my very own LSS "Absolutely Everything"  to teach a full weekend of Copic Coloring Classes.  I have already signed up for three of the four classes and can hardly wait for that weekend to arrive.  If you are local to my area, there are still some spots available. You can also find more information on Sandy's web page HERE!     If you do decide to take any classes, please let me know, so I can look forward to seeing you that weekend!    I already know a few of the regulars who will be taking the classes and one is a gal who is brand new to AE and I met her in our Monthly Card Club.  I also connected her to Operation Write Home and she was very excited to tell me last week, that she is happy to be in the process of being one of their newest card-makers.  She has already ordered her OWH Rubber Stamp and is now working on cards to donate!   Way to go Daphne -- I'm so happy you decided to help this amazing group!!

And now, I'm heading back to my desk to continue to Tuck and Stamp a few more of the cards that I'm donating to Operation Write Home.  If you would LIKE to be involved in the group and donate some of your own creations, please go HERE, where you'll find a wealth of information on how to start creating and donating cards.   I'm sure once you do, you'll enjoy being part of this group and truly enjoy doing your own little part to show our Heroes, just how much we all appreciate ALL they do to serve and protect us all every day!   Thank you so much!

A Little About Me

My photo
Northeastern, Massachusetts, United States
Purple is my favorite color and ironically - Purple is the Awareness Ribbon color for Fibromyalgia, a chronic illness I lived with for over 18 years. In, March of 2015, I was diagnosed with Stage IV Lung Cancer which had spread to my brain. I am fighting hard to win this battle and determined to beat it. I have a amazing Oncology Team, along with the LOVE and SUPPORT of all my family and friends! I am a Mom to two grown sons, Alex is now 25 and married to Acacia, my wonderful new "Daughter" and the parents to my precious Grand-Daughter Harper, and Brian amazingly is 30 and now lives in San Diego. My boys are the greatest loves of my life. Hubby, me and our two "Pups", Skye and Zeva, two adorable Chiweenies we rescued in 2012, all live very happily in a tiny coastal town in Massachusetts. We lost our dear "Scoutie", a Purebred Dachshund, in April of 2015. I still miss him and will forever cherish his memory. I am an avid card-maker and totally love every minute I can spend in my craft room. It's become my passion, a wonderful way to relax and is my form or "therapy".
