Happy Sunday!!

Good Morning,

Stopping by in between my laundry and chores to wish everyone a Happy Sunday!  Today, I plan to work on more challenges and found a fabulous new one that will help me to get ahead on making my Christmas Cards, which is something I had been wanting to do this year.  I do have two made, which is a start, but I still want to really get ahead and this new Challenge is perfect for me.

It's a challenge site called Susie & Vikki's Christmas Club and every week they post a new challenge.  They started this group purposely to get ahead on Christmas Cards and I think it's a great idea.  I plan to make a card for their Challenge today.  It's Challenge # 3 - Non Traditional Christmas.  If you want to join in, please hop on over to their blog and that is where you will find all the details.

I am very excited about this and this is the perfect way to keep me on track on making at least one Christmas Card every week!!

Ooops!!...time to go....my dryer is buzzing and I need to add thenext load of laundry!!  See you all later!!

Fussy and Fancy Friday Challenge!

....And my last challenge that I an uploading today is once I am submitting to another new Challenge blog that I found earlier this week.  If you want to join in, then hop on over to the "Fussy and Fancy Friday Challenge" and check out the HEARTS Challenge

This is the card I am submitting for the Hearts Challenge --

This is another card where I went with my ever favorite color of Purple, followed with Pink, my second favorite color.  And this is image is also another of the adorable Lily images from Pink Cat Studio.  Not only is Lilly sitting on a big pink heart, but she is also wearing a heart headband and a love dress adorned with hearts.  She is from the new Valentine Collection and Pink Cat and is so much fun to color.  I colored her with copies and then used my Cuttlebug along with a Oval Spellbinder die to cut two scalloped ovals.  I embossed the Lavender oval in a Heart Motif and adhered Lily with Pop Dots.  I also added a fine layer of Sparkling Glitter to her wings to make them sparkle!

My first Copic Color Challenge!!

This is another great challenge blog I came across this week and it will be that ALL of your who LOVE coloring with your Copic, will LOVE.  It's is the Copic Colour Challenge.  Hop on over to check out the latest challenge.  This weeks challenge is to use these three colors - E00 (Skin White), E33 (Sand), and R02 (Fresh).

I thought this would be a great one to start with, since those a basic colors that I use a lot for faces.   While over at the blog, I was admiring the cards I noticed that the challenge is sponsored by Pink Gem Designs, so hopped over there and found some adorable stamps and found that they also have their own Challenge blog too which you can find here!   I am amazed at how many Challenge blogs I have found this week and can't wait try more of these challenges once I have some of these stamps.  I placed my first order for some Pink Gem Design Stamps with Janet Thursday and was very pleased with the service.  Everything went through PayPal and it was she had some great stamps, really cute!  I ordered four stamps and they shipped out the very same day.  I'm not sure how long they will take to arrive from the UK, but Janet said generally, about a week, which seemed find to me!  I'll be sure to post and show them to you once they arrive and then I can try some of their challenges too!  This is one of the stamps I ordered,  - Sunflower Sprinkles, isn't she cute!!

And this is the card I am submitting for the Copic Challenge.   (Note:  It does also include other colors, which I believe is fine according to the rules).  I am new to this challenge, but I did use ALL colors they listed on my card.

This image is from Pink Cat Studio (one of my favorites) and this one is called, 'Lily Rides a Polar Bear'.  I absolutely LOVE Melissa's images and own several of her stamps in both Digi and Rubber.  I think they are a lot of fun and perfect stamps to use with my Copics.  Fun !  Fun!  Fun

Adorable and Fun Challenges!!

As soon as I saw how ALL the gorgeous cards that had been created over at "Just Magnolia",  I knew I wanted to join in the newest challenge called "Hearts and Flowers".   If you want to see some absolutely beautiful cards, please hop on over to "Just Magnolia" and take a peek at the cards that have already been submitted.....!  They are wonderful!

And after you have taken some time to admire those....I then suggest you then hop on over to another New Challenge Blog I found this week, called "A Spoon Full of Sugar" .   They are also holding a challenge this week too and the best part about their challenge this week is that it's FREESTYLE, so I was able to enter that challenge at the same time.  I also plan to go back and see what they have for a challenge next week and will try to enter that challenge too.

I started my card yesterday and it's another Tilda Card (she is one of my favorite images, in case you haven't figured that out, LOL! )  This one is "Tilda as a Ballerina" and  I have been making a whole lot of cards with her images lately.  I also used lots of pinks and purples, as I also tend to do and created an easel card for this challenge.   They are fast becoming one of my favorite cards to make, and once I got the hang of it, I realized how easy they are!

I hope you'll like this card, I thought it would work out great for both challenges and I had a a lot of fun working on it.

And this is a view of the card when its' closed!

Now...I am off to check my emails and see what is going on in my Craft Group.  If I can manage to find enough energy, I might start working on another Challenge too!  I have had such a fun time with all these challenges and to me it's a great way to practice cardmaking!

Have a great day and as always....Happy Crafting!!

Cute Card Thursday Challenge!!

I have been blog hopping a lot this week and have found ALL kinds of new and fun Challenge Blogs to add to my bookmarks.   One of the newest I came across yesterday, is called "Cute Card Thursday Challenge Blog".  They post a new Challenge ever Thursday and I thought this would be a fun one to try.

This weeks is their 97th Challenge and it's called Blooming Gorgeous and the challenge for this week is to feature flowers on your card, any style, simply gorgeous flowers!   I have been working on Valentine's, so I thought I would I use both themes together to made a floral Valentine Card and this is what I came up with --

I started by picking out a cute stamp--and to me, Tilda is always a cutie, so I picked out one of my Magnolia Stamps.  This however is one of my stamps that I do NOT know the name of and would LOVE to learn.  After I had bought my first few Magnolia Stamps, I realized that they do NOT come with the names of the packages, and I have been looking them up, little by little, but this is one I haven't found.  If anyone does know the name, PLEASE post a comment and let me know.  I hope to have them all 'named' very soon.

Once I had my Tilda stamps, I decided I want to use a pretty pink "flower" ribbon along with some pink flowers.  I picked out some pretty "floral" papers from my scrap bin that matched with the pink and lavender.  I also decided at that point that I wanted to go with a Pink/Lavender them and choose a Lavender card base.   I colored this little Tilda with my Copic Sketch markers, and then found some cute heart shapes and brads to made it work well has a Valentine too.  This could also be used simply to send someone a "Hug" and and to tell them you LOVE them.  Perfect for someone going though a hard time,  or a friend in need of a hug.   I love sending and receiving cards and some times I call them "Hugs by Mail".

In the end I think this is a sweet card and will be sure it goes to someone very special!

Yippee! Friday at LAST!

I just LOVE Friday!  I always have and I'm sure I always will and it never really has seemed to change even after I stopped working.  I guess I enjoy the weekend as much as anyone and like having my family around more and LOVE being able to sleep in.
Today is brutally COLD day here and the winds are howling.  The temps are below zero with the wind chills!  It's just awful.  I am so thankful we have a wood stove and that I also have a mini heater I keep in much craft room to keep me roasty toasty.   This weather is brutal for Fibro -- and it can really both me, but it's been such a bad week overall that today isn't too awful.  We also may have some snow coming over the weekend too...which is not my thing.  I would LOVE to be hopping on a plane and taking off for a nice Caribbean Vacation....or any lovely warm sunny beach.  I can NOT wait for winter to be over and absolutely LOVE Spring and Summer.
I was very happy to find my State Tax Refund has been deposited in our account, so that was a plus and I have now pre-ordered some of my favorite CHA things that I had wanted.  A very big week for me, but since I am going on the Craft Shopping Wagon beginning February 1st, I knew I wanted to get some orders in before Monday!  I have been waiting for the new CHA items and found what I had really wanted today.  The only thing I really still want will be the new Scor-Buddy, but that is NOT coming out until April, so I can wait.
And speaking of sprees and goodies...today, I actually received a fabulous box of goodies from the BIG Weekend Sale, I had signed up for last weekend at  Flowers to FlourishesThis was the second time I took part in one of these sales and it was wonderful.  The deals were fantastic and I am very happy with ALL my new things.  My favorites were the BLING and the Crate Paper packs that I bought!  Thank you Kelly!!

These are the WISH LIST items that I ordered today:
And I may try and head to my LSS this weekend too, as they are also have a big sale to make room for all of the NEW CHA items that will be in soon.  But, if it stays this cold and YUK, then I'll pass and that and maybe made one more online order!  I do LOVE online shopping and it makes it much easier on me too!
That's my day....I'm also working on a card for the newest "Just Magnolia Challenge", which is "Heart and Flowers".  I have my Tilda all colored and have some of my hearts and flowers picked out but have not put my card together yet.  I will post it, when I am done.
    Happy Crafting!!

A Fun Magnolia Challenge...

This morning I finished up another Tilda Card that I made for a new challenge.  This challenge is being hosted by  the Magnolia Stamp Lovers Blog and the prize is awesome.  If you are lucky enough to win,  you will not only win a cute  Magnolia "Tilda with Lilacs" Stamp, but you will also win a One Year Subscription to Magnolia Ink, which fabulous prize!
If you want to join in on this challenge, then hop on over to the Magnolia Stamp Lovers Blog and you will find all the details HERE!  While you are there, be sure to check out the wonderful cards that have been already been submitted.  You will also find the challenge sketch, along with all challenge requirements.
This is my card and my take of the sketch.  I had fun making the card and really love challenges!

For my card I chose the "Tilda Picking Peaches" stamp, which is really a pretty one.  I also tried to match up my papers and card-stock to match the way I colored her outfit.  I colored the image with my Copic Markers and also used my Cuttlebug to Emboss the top of the card to give it more dimension.   The card base was actually a 12X12 page that I cut down to card size and kept the scalloped edge to be the bottom on my card.  I also used my Cuttlebug and the Labels 4 Spellbinder die to the shape out of the same card-stock.  The photo does not show how lovely this card-stock really is, its' from Making Memories and is called - Love Bird Scallop Love Notes and came out in 09.  I bought it on clearance at my LSS for 10 cents a sheet and I Love it!   It has a white background with a delicate pink and gold flourish-like design...very pretty and feminine. I bought 10 sheets for $1 and will be using it for Valentine's Cards too.
And speaking of Valentines, I am still working on those and having fun, but working very slow this week and staying offline, as much as I can.   My Fibro has been flaring terribly this week and my neck seems even worse today.  I guess the change in my meds is not doing what we had hoped and when I go back to see my doctor next week, we will need to come up with another change!
For now, I'm adding heat and did take add an extra med and hope I will start to feel better soon.  I won't be online too much, but I did want to get this card done and posted and now I'm off to simply color and rest.

Wishing everyone a great day~wonderful weekend and lots Happy Crafting time!  Thanks for visiting!

More Cards....

I have been finding all kinds of FUN new challenge and sketch blogs and another one I found today is "Tuesday Morning Sketches".  It looked like a fun sketch, so I decided to try using it for one of my Valentine Cards.  This the card I came up with based on Melissa's sketch-

I had fun making this card and HOPE I can figure out how to actually link it to Melissa's blog.  I am not very good with some versions of Mr. Blink, but I sure will try.
I also completed another Valentine Card using a Great Impressions Stamp and had been featured in their January Classes.  If you are interested in buying any Great Impressions stamps, my favorite place to buy them is from Sierra Trading.  It's a very nice store and the owners are both really great people.  I have bought from them several times and it's always been a pleasure and their service is excellent.  Sierra had hundreds of GI Stamps and all the instructions for GI Card Classes.   It's one of my favorite places to shop, especially for Great Impresssion Stamps.
The Stamp I used is called "Romantic Postage" and I thought it would make a pretty card.  I stamped the image in Black Memento ink and colored it with my Copic Markers.   Once I finished the coloring, I added some Great Impressions - Sparkling Ice Glitter" to the vase, which really made it sparkle.  This particular glitter is one of my favorites and I use it often.   The only place I have ever found it is at Sierra Trading or at my LSS, and I highly recommend it.  It's ultra-fine and the sparkle is amazing.  Once everything dried,  I then layered the colored image on a few alternating sheets of pink and black card-stock which I adhered to my card base.  For my card base I used Iridescent Strawberry Freeze Cardstock from DeNami Designs.  Denami is another of my favorite stamp/card stores and I have taken quite a few of their classes.  Their iridescent card-stock and their glitters are also fabulous the colors are wonderful.  They also have some really cute stamps and are one of the companies that come and teach at my LSS.  I have taken three DeNami classes and hope they will be back for another class soon.
I really like the "Romantic Postage" even more than I thought and I know I will end up using it again for more Valentine's.  It's really pretty and you can color it in a variety of colors to totally change the look.

I also finished up one more Tilda Card today.   This is a frriendship (every day) card that I created using "Jam Tilda", which is the newest in my Magnolia Stamp collection.  I also trying to use MORE colors, and this I used blues and yellows.  If you know me, you know that Purple is my favorite color and I used it a lot on my cards, however I am trying to really hard to use lots of my wonderful Copic Colors.
On no!!    ... have to run.......... Alex just sent me a text...that his Jeep is  "dead" at school.......I'm off  with the jumper cables and HOPE we can get it going!   ARGH....!!!

Another challenge card!

Today, I finished up a new card I made for a challenge on the Creative Inspirations Challenge blog.  I used the "Tilda as a Ballerina" Magnolia Stamp and followed the sketch that was provided on Jude's blog.   If you want to play along, hop on over to her blog and look for Challenge # 26 and you will find Maxine's sketch.  The prize for the lucky winner of this challenge will be a $25 Gift Certificate to Peach Keen Stamps, sure sounds like a good one to me and believe it or not, I have never shopped there.  I did take a peek and they have some cute stamps and I'm sure now that I have found them, I'll shop there soon.

Here is the card I am submitting for the challenge --

and here is a different view....

I have been having a lot of fun creating "Easel Cards" lately is this one was fun.  I used my Cuttlebug to cut the various shapes and also used one of the newly released Cuttlebug Embossing folder from the Asian Line, that I ordered just last week from CreativeXpress.   I can't wait to try out some of the Brand New "1 Pass" Cuttlebug cut and emboss folders that were released at CHA this week.   Have you seen them yet? -  If not, you can see them HERE, pretty cool, don't  you think!  WOOHOO!!!

My next project is going to be another Valentine Card and I will be using this "Romantic Postage" Stamp, from Great Impressions.  I'll be sure to post a picture, when I have it done.  It was a stamp they featured in the January card classes and I bought it at my LSS after I missed the class.

   Happy Crafting!

Stressed and in Pain.....

...Things are NOT always as they seem and I found that out the hard way and it really has been an awful experience.  I've been deeply upset and hurt by someone I really and truly felt was my friend?  I just don't get it?
I have been trying to pour my heart into my crafting and that has been keeping me busy.  Today, I hope to enter a few cards in some challenges and that will hopefully make me feel better.  Crafting has always been my way of trying to relax....kind of therapeutic and right NOW I feel like I really NEED that!
I did go out this morning for my Chiro adjustment and Deb, (My Chiropractor) said that the my muscles in my neck and shoulders are in knots...very tight and like rocks.  She thought that I had maybe done something or been injured ~ but it's simply STRESS and is NOT good!    I do NOT deal well with stress and never have...and I avoid it or any conflicts where ever I possible can.  I am a sincere, kind, honest and caring person and I am terrible when it comes to dealing with stress.    I wish some times I could be a tough person and not care...and let things roll off me, but I can't, it's simply not ME.  I wear my heart of my sleeve and I am deeply sensitive!  I do know that this will pass, but for now it's just an awful feeling......!

....Hoping for sunshine and much happier days...

Just Magnolia - Card Challenge!

I have been working on this on this card for days it seems,  simply to complete it and get it uploaded and linked for a Challenge on the "Just Magnolia Challenge Blog".  I actually started it on Thursday night.  That was the night I picked up a few different stamps and stamped some Tilda's for my card.
On Friday, I began coloring and decided that this was the image I was going to use for the challenge card...!  But, between a weekend of craft shopping, tax preparation and simply doing chores, I have not had a lot of free time and finally finished this just now.
This card was created using the "Pink Tilda with Heart" Stamp, which I thought would be really cute for a Valentine card.  I started by coloring "Tilda" with my Copic Markers in shades of pink and lavender.  Then, to make her heart sparkle even more, I layered a coat of lavender colored Stickles over the heart and also on ribbons on her braids.  I used a small heart stamp and two shades of Pigment Inks to create the the small hearts that run down the left side of the card.  The hearts on the right were cut with Spellbinder dies and then embossed with my Cuttlebug.
I used a new EK Success Heart border bunch to create a little area for Tilda to sit and I finished off the card with some Polka Dot Ribbon from SU along with a HUGS Sentiment!
And after all that....I'm NOT overly thrilled by my end result...!  Bummer!   If I had more time, I would make another card for the Challenge, but sadly I don't.  I do plan to make more Valentine's with this image, but I know they won't be done in time for the challenge, so this is my submission.

I love the colors, and I did have FUN creating the card, but I feel like it's something? What do you think?

Sharing a Blog Candy Link!!

I was blog hopping earlier and found this wonderful blog,  called "A Sprinking of Glitter".  The owner, Mandy is a fabulous card maker.  As soon as I saw her adorable Magnolia Card I knew it wanted to share it on my blog for you all to see.

Happy Friday...and lots of News!!

WooHOO!  Friday and it's a beautiful day here in New England.  The sun is out the skies are a beautiful bright blue and the snow is melting away.  The best part is that it looks like it will be a nice weekend too, with mild temps and no bitter cold!  Yippee!!
This week has been a tough week for me, I ended up in a Fibro flare and simply have not been feeling so hot.  I really missed having more time to craft and realized that I needed to make some changes so that I could feel better and heal.    One thing I quickly realized is that the MORE time I spent away from the computer and being online....the better I felt.  I spent two days mostly coloring with my Copics and found it was really relaxing.  It made me think about how much time I had been spending online and I knew pretty much after the first day, that it had much TOO much!
I decided that I needed to make some changes and to focus on feeling better and simply having FUN with my crafts.   I needed to decided what I could fit in and what wasn't working well for me.   It was a hard decision, but I decided to give up my role as a member of the Cutters Creek Design Team.   I was truly very honored and proud to have had the opportunity to be on a design team, but sadly,  found it was not right for me.   I have a few more projects that will be posted this month, but my last day will be the 31st.   It was a good experience for me and I truly enjoyed meeting the other designers and working as a team.  I do hope we will all keep in touch and I wish everyone well.   In my heart, I truly feel I did what was best for me.
I am going back to simply being me...!  I am going to keep making my cards.....continue participating in challenges and I am taking two new classes at "My Createve Classroom" staring in February.  I am taking "The Color Craze" a class that is being taught by Collen Schaan, who is the same instructor I had for the "Everything Copic" class, which I loved.  I and two of the gals from that class, Linda and Colleen, are also coming back to take "The Color Craze" class too, which will be really Fun!    And secondly, since I really need to learn HOW to finally use and put my Cricut's to good use,  I have also enrolled in a Cricut Expression class, which will start from the beginning.   Here in my local area, there are NOT any type of diecut machine classes and since I feel like I have a lot of money invested in my Baby Bug and my Pink Expression, I really want to learn how to USE them both a whole lot more.   Once I realized that MCC offered several different Cricut classes, I decided to start at the beginning with Expression 101.   The fun part is that two of my friends  from the "MISfits" will be joining me in the classes.  Ann is taking "The Color Craze" with me and JJ is taking the Circut Expression class, so it will be fun to be with them both again.  I am really excited about taking these craft classes and hope I can do well with them both.
Another goal I have set for myself is to go on the Craft Wagonas of February 1st and to really try VERY hard to shop a whole LOT less and instead put ALL my wonderful goodies to use!  I have been on a 'craft' spending spree for far too long and really need to focus on my long term goal of being debt free was was part of my goal for 2010 and the future.  Sadly, January has NOT gone well and I bought a lot of new things.   Mostly with money and gift certificates that I had from Christmas, but I also bought lots of goodies from all those "after Christmas sales"...now it's time to USE what I have and be thankful that I already have so much.   Wish me luck...this is NOT an easy goal for someone who LOVES to shop!! :)
I'm off now to work on a card for a challenge, but before I go I am I am sharing a  few new cards I made this week....

This first one is a "Thank You" card I made for
a local friend.  The Cutie is called "Riley" and
she is ONE of my favorite stamps!

This is the inside....

And next is another card using
Pink Cat Studio Images...they are so FUN!
This is "Lily" Riding a Polar Bear,
which I turned into a Valentine Card,
by adding some hearts and
lots of "Sparkling" white glitter.

This is another Valentine, also
using a different "Lily" Pink Cat Image.

.......and that's it for now....!   I post some more over the weekend and hope to get a lot done.

Happy Friday!  And as always -- Happy Crafting!!!

Challenges...I Just love them!!

I found this really cool new "Stamping Challenge" over at the Ch{all}enge Masters website.  Go here to take part or to see how the technique works.   It's called Rock n Roll and I had never seen or tried it before...but I sure will now!!

I played around with a few different images and realized quickly that it works best with a stamp that has a LOT of solid color, so I found a cute little Heart Stamp that I ended up using.  I used Pigment Inks in Pink and Purple and although my colors actually kind of blended more (because they were not dye inks)...I really LOVED how it looked.  This is the card that I submitted to the challenge.

I love how the two colors blended together...very cool and definitely a technique I will use again.  I also stamped a few more sets of hearts and "heat embossed" some of them clear embossing power and those came out beautiful.  I'm so happy with this new technique and this is WHY I LOVE taking part in challenges.  It helps me to learn new things.

My Craft Room!!

After spending most of the past three works working to re-organize my entire Craft Room, I am VERY happy to say that it's finally done!  I do still have to clean out the closet in my room, but that will be my next project!  I had a great time re-organizing and LOVE how my room turned out.  It's very easy to find things and I am very happy to now be neat and organized!

Here are some pictures of the whole process !  There first few picture are my room how it was before I started the re-organization --

This is a BEFORE Picture!  My goal was to use the JetMax Cubes I bought on-sale to sort out a lot of these Plastic Bins and also create another work space are...

This was day one!  ALL the bags are goodies I bought the day I bought on Clearance, the day I bought my JetMax Cubes.

In Progress!!
. ....sorting out ALL these Bins....and stuff is EVERY WHERE...

Another 'In Progress' picture, which shows the JetMax Cubes
are NOW in place, but I am still filing them and sorting out stuff
Argh...What a mess!!

Things are now slowly getting done...and looking better...
I switched from "Copic Cases" to these Rubbermaid Cubes
and now keep my Copics right on my Desk.  I LOVE this
Storage idea!  The cubes connect to each other and they each
can hold almost 100 Sketch Markers!!

Another view of my Work Desk along with my new "Alex"
drawer Unit!  This came form IKEA and I now have TWO!
They are fantastic and hold so much!

These are my neatly organized drawers.  They hold
a ton of stuff and are very deep.

This is the back wall...behind my Work Table..and these are
Expedit Bookcase Units. We bought these and all of the furniture from IKEA last Summer.   Actually, other than the JetMax Cubes--ALL my furniture came from IKEA, we bought it when I decided to convert our upstairs Den into a Craft Room.

And another view of the taller unit, right behind where I sit and work.

Right next to that Bookcase another Expedit unit.  This one we put on it's side to create another workspace area.   This is where I have by Baby Bug and my Pink Expression!
I found matching covers for them on eBay and love them!
Underneath is more storage, my Cricut Cartridges, Several boxes of card/envelopes, along with all my Cuttlebug Dies/folders,  Magazines, and storage boxes full of supplies, paints, embellishments, ribbons, adhesives etc.

And this is the area that I had totally done over.  I sorted out
off the plastic bins an added these JetMax Cubes and then sorted ALL my Card-stock by Color!  I gave away over 30 pounds of paper and a great big box of  Blog Candy during my make-over!
I LOVE sharing, it makes me HAPPY!

This is my TV area, and some a storage shelf and my wonderful
MM Ribbon Center that my friend, Sharon
sent me totally out of the blue, as a wonderful
"Friendship" gift.  I was thrilled...she's a sweetie and fabulous crafter and I have learned a lot from her!

And this is my MM Embellishment Center that matches my Ribbon Shelf and my Desktop Carousels.  DH bought me the Embellishment Center as part of my Christmas Gift.  Under the MM Unit, are the NEW JetMax Cubes!  Now holding ALL of my 12X12 Cardstock and I sorted by color.   I now keep my Scor-Pal there and have a new little work space.

And these are my storage solutions for Rubber Stamps.
They are such a great idea for Stamps, Punches,
Embellishments and I love them.  My "thanks" to the Gals in the Q Scrapper group, particularly Sharon, who recommended them to me.   They are from HSN and are called  Roll-up organizers.  Each set has (two) and I have four on the door and 6 more in my closet, all totally full of Rubber Stamps!  I collect Rubber Stamps and LOVE them!
I love to color the images with my Copics.

A different view of the door with the organizers.

And this is my Computer Area/Desk and Hutch.
The Desk/Hutch and printer drawer unit and chair came from IKEA too.

And my now very 'neat" workspace area!  It's actually a long white kitchen table,  we found this in the kitchen area at IKEA on Clearance.   It's almost 6' long and gives me lots of space.

And this is one last picture that shows my space!
I am done and truly LOVE this space.  It's where I spend ALMOST all my time and its' like my own little taste of
HEAVEN!!!!!!!!

I feel VERY lucky and blessed to have my room and I LOVE being in here....it's my Peaceful, Relaxing, Crater, Sunny, and very Happy Place!

Purple is my favorite color and ironically - Purple is the Awareness Ribbon color for Fibromyalgia, a chronic illness I lived with for over 18 years. In, March of 2015, I was diagnosed with Stage IV Lung Cancer which had spread to my brain. I am fighting hard to win this battle and determined to beat it. I have a amazing Oncology Team, along with the LOVE and SUPPORT of all my family and friends! I am a Mom to two grown sons, Alex is now 25 and married to Acacia, my wonderful new "Daughter" and the parents to my precious Grand-Daughter Harper, and Brian amazingly is 30 and now lives in San Diego. My boys are the greatest loves of my life. Hubby, me and our two "Pups", Skye and Zeva, two adorable Chiweenies we rescued in 2012, all live very happily in a tiny coastal town in Massachusetts. We lost our dear "Scoutie", a Purebred Dachshund, in April of 2015. I still miss him and will forever cherish his memory. I am an avid card-maker and totally love every minute I can spend in my craft room. It's become my passion, a wonderful way to relax and is my form or "therapy".
