....is this week's 'Stamp n Scrap' challenge over at Simply Scrapping Crafts. I was all excited to get moving on my first card today for the new challenge, especially since I seem to struggle with CAS cards. I love the look and the design, but see others who seem to make it look so easy and create amazing cards.
I started by picked out an image that I had partially colored and it was a cute snowman. I finished coloring him with my copics and then picked out two matching pieces of cardstock, put together my layout and had this cute card. I headed to the group to post it, and quickly re-read the challenge instructions to make sure I had the requirements....well guess what. I missed one very important details......I needed to add a Twist of Fall?? Oops! Looks like I picked the wrong season for this little guy....
...Okay....back to my desk and starting over...! I picked out this cute little digi from Bugaboo...and this time, I made sure to pick something with a Fall Theme! Yaay!! I colored this cute little 'Pumpkin Boy', picked out some Halloween paper by 'Recollections" and created 'Trick or Treat' my new (Fall Themed) card, which is what I will be submitting to the challenge.
Off to color again and work on another challenge and hoping to get it right from the start! :)

Where has the week gone.?
....It's already Thursday and I feel like I have lost the past two days. I have only managed to make one card in the past two days and miss my crafting already. I can't wait to get back on track today and spend some time creating some new challenge cards.
I do have one card to share and this was created with a new stamp called 'Spa Gilli' and this is another of the wonderful adorable stamps from the Gilli line, the wonderful line created, by my friend Anary. My card was also created and is card with a few challenges in mind and wish I could go spend a lovely day at the SPA!
My 'Life is Good' Spa Gilli card was created and inspired by the following challenges:
Afternoon Update - It's been a great day of catching up on some of my favorite challenges and today I have a card inspired by both Meljen Designs who is sponsoring today's challenge over at the 'Stars and Stamps Blog' for Operation Write Home. This is the card I created for Challenge # 27 - Monochromatic - over at the Meljen Designs Team Challenge blog. My image, called 'Faith Love Hope', is a favorite and one of the many Meljen Design images I have in my collection. If you would like to add some to your collection, please can go HERE!
I also want to take a moment to thank Melissa, the artist and creator of Meljen Designs, for featuring one of my cards on the her blog today! It was such a wonderful honor and I was very happy to see it in today's newsletter. It was a fun card and was created with another of her wonderful images -- 'Fall Teddy Bear'. Thank you Melissa for the wonderful honor and my best wishes to Carla who also had her adorable card featured!
Hope you all have a wonderful day and as always -- Happy Crafting!!!

My very first Gilli Card!!!
...As I'm sure some of your know, one of my craft friends, Anary, created her very own brand new stamp line called Gilli. We have all been so excited and very happy for her and have been anxiously awaiting to start our Gilli Collection. I placed a pre-order the very first time I saw these adorable images and was so excited to find out they shipped on Friday. TODAY, was the lucky day they arrived at my home. WOOHOO! My very first order of Gilli Stamps are here!
I have to tell you that these stamps are fabulous, highly quality and so darn cute, even cuter in person and they tamp wonderful clear crisp images. If you are familiar with Magnolia Stamps, they are mounted the same way and come in a package style, somewhat similar. They are a deeply etched red rubber on foam mount and every image I stamped came out perfect. The back of package is adorable is designed with a colored picture and the name of the stamp, which can be cut out and made into a little tag for organization and storage. A fabulous and very unique idea. I stamped out 3 of each image using a plain acrylic block and it was a breeze. Not only are they cute, well designed and well made, they are also super fun to color. I stamped mine in Black Memento ink, and colored with Copic. I finished coloring a few, then began a card and I am very happy to be here now to share my very first 'Gilli' Card with you all.
This cutie called 'Gilli Girly' and she was one of my first choices. I also bought Gilli Spa and Gilli Jeans along with a cute sentiment, which has since sold out is is back on pre-order. These stamps are already very popular, that many from the original supply have sold out, but if you hurry there are still some in stock, or you can pre-order, so you'll be first in line on the next shipment. They are all super cute and I'm sure they will continue to sell quickly. If you want to buy some now, HOP on over to Simply Scrapping, and pick out your favorites, they are some really cute ones still in stock and the next shipment will be arriving soon. I am very happy for Anary and really believe she had done a wonderful job with these adorable images. I have already gone back to Simply Scrapping placed an order for more. Once my next order arrives, I will have he Butterfly Set, two more Sentiments, Gilli Tee and Asian Gilli, plus some other craft goodies from Cindy's store.
I know many of your know Anary and how talented she is. She's also become a very sweet and dear friend to me and I think she's one of the most caring people I have ever met. I hope the Gilli's are a huge success and wish Anary the very best!

A dreay Monday...
...it's still cloudy and today we are expecting rain and even cooler temps....I already miss Summer. Fall is likely here to stay and I think I need to get ready. Luckily, Hubby is preparing as he ordered Firewood which was delivered this morning and will be wonderful in the wood stove on the super cold days.
As much as I'm not really ready for winter, I do love Fall and I totally LOVE Christmas and will be starting on my shopping very soon. I love to have all my Christmas Shopping done early, so that I can relax and totally enjoy the holidays. I also have a lot more Christmas cards to make and will be working more on that in the next several weeks.
Today, I wanted to make some bright and sunny and was inspired by a card created by Catherine Pooler, my new Stampin' Up Demo. Catherine is very talented and I am very pleased to have signed up for her Club In-Box. Catherine is also a member in many of the craft groups that I belong to, and it's been really fun getting to know her. Here is the video I watched that inspired my card today. I love this particular designer paper and bought it as soon as I saw it.
Both these cards were very easy and fun to make. The perfect way to add some Sunshine to this dark dreary day.
Now, I am off visit my groups and see what everyone is up too! Have a wonderful day!!

Fall is here...
...What a difference a day can make here in New England. Yesterday, we had clouds and sun with temps up in the 80's, and now today the feel is Fall is here with dark skies, lots of clouds and temps down in the 60's. It's also a great day for starting Fall projects and that's what I have been doing.
I have two fun cards to share and both were inspired by several challenges. My first card was based on this week's 'Sketch # 36' from the OWH Stars & Stamps blog. I am posting a copy of the sketch here and inviting you all to join in!
My sweet little 'Black Cats for Sale' image is from 'A Day for Daisies' and you can find it HERE, in the online store. I thought it was so sweet and adorable to see all the tiny kittens in the pumpkins and it's perfect for a fun Halloween of Fall card. I am submitting this card to the following challenges:
I had fun creating this card and also created it with a few more challenges in mind. I hope you will all stop by these challenges too. My card is being submitted to each of these fun challenges.
And now I am off to work on a project for another challenge! I hope everyone is having a nice weekend and hope you too are spending time creating some fun projects.

Happy Saturday....What's UP??
It's a bit cloudy here today, but still very mild for late September. This morning I slept in and most of the morning I spent working on a new card based on a new technique I learned from Suzanne Dean over in her Color Me Creative Classroom. This classroom is open to all and there is a new Copic Coloring challenge every two weeks, if you would like to join in, please hop on over to the classroom HERE!
The challenge for this week is to create a project using a Monochromatic coloring technique, which I've seen quite often lately. Personally, I had never tried it, but there are some details that are provided if it's new to you over in the challenge forum, which you'll find here. I also am enrolled in Suzanne's classes and she does a full class in the Level 4 Classroom, specifically on this technique, which allowed me to spend time watching the video and working along with my own image.
I hope you like my card, it has a nice vintage type feeling and is a fun technique. I'm sure it's one I will use again.
I totally enjoyed making this card and also based the theme and design on a few more challenges, which I will be submitting this Sweet Vintage style Tilda Card.
Thank you all for some wonderful idea and inspiration. I am off now to work on another challenge card and hope to be back to post it a bit later. See you then!!

Boy's Rule is the card that I created with Ethan today and he is being submitted to the following challenges:
- Simply Scrapping Crafts - Color Combo with a Twist (Boys)
- Stamp Something Challenge - Fall Colors
- Digi Doodle Shop's Best - Challenge 26 - Emboss it!
- StampInsantity Stamp Company - #28 - Show 'em Who EmBoss!
I have two more fun cards to share and both of these cards were created for challenges. The first was for this week's Stamp n' Scrap Challenge over at SSC. Our challenge was to use some stitching on our cards...Ha Ha..!! If you know me, you know that I can not sew and as much as I LOVE the look of stitching on cards, its' sew not me! But, I found I had the perfect image from Bugaboo Stamps, and did NOT want to give up, SEW (pun intended) I am very happy to say I managed go create a few stitches and finish this card.
My second card was created for a variety of challenges, and was based on a color combo challenge over at the Crafter's Digital Arts Center. The adorable pocket digi image donated to the challenge by KLM Designs, who is also the challenge host. If you would like to join in, you'll find the challenge here, at CDAC, along with three different 'freebie' pocket images you may choose from for you creation. The colors for the challenge are Lavender, Pink, White and Cocoa and this is my card. I created my flowers by hand with a Tim Holtz's Flower die and also with one of the new Doohickey dies from Magnolia, which are very cool. I cute out a few sets in each color and then used a pen to roll up the edges a bit and hand cut some stems from my cocoa cardstock. For centers I added brown (Cocoa) bland and adhered them to my car with clue dots. I really look how the Doohicky dies worked out.
As for my pocket, I printed the digi directly onto patterned paper and then paper-pieced the other colors. There are some fabulous tutorials all about digital stamps and all the great things you can do with them on your computer. You can find the tutorial over at CDAC HERE!! If you love digi images as much as I do, you will LOVE this wonderful group. It's open to ALL and free to join.

Happy Thursday!!
Today is going to be another fun and crafty day for me. I am feeling so much better today and with Fibro any good day, is such a blessing.
I have a really fun card to share with you know and it was created with several challenges in mind, but is also a super cute and fun 'Birthday Card'. Lots of bright colors and as cute image from Bugaboo Stamps. I also tried something new for this card and merged my digi image onto a new digi paper, which is my first time trying a background and it was fun!
This is my card, which is also an Easel Card and I was inspired to make an Easel Card by my friend Ann, who was the inspiration designer for the Midweek Throwdown Challenge over at the Stars and Stamps blog. If you have never created an Easel Card, they are really fun and you can find a great tutorial over at Split Coast Stampers, created by Beate Johns a very well known and talented crafter.
My card was also inspired by Colleen's new Copic Coloring Challenge over at SSC. Colleen challenged us to great a Birthday Card, include the colors Green and Black and also to make it sparkle, which I did with a bit of Stickles.
My fun and bright Birthday card is being submitted to these fun and creative challenges:

Wednesday --- Challenge Day!!
...I always look forward to Wednesday, it's the middle of the week and one of the days I seem to find a lot of fun new challenges. I have been working on a few different challenges for the past couple of days and I am happy to be feeling better and back to share some cards.
My first card was created with a few challenges in mind and the first one that inspired me was the new challenge over at 'The Pink Elephant', once of my favorite challenge blogs. Lori's challenge for this week was one I knew I would love, because I am also a fan of Heather's images and already own a nice selection. The challenge was to - Use the color Aqua, a Designer Paper and to use an embellishment of your choice. I started by coloring this cute little image in a little Aqua outfit and for my Designer paper I chose some the The Memory Box's - Spearmint Collection, and I chose to use a few little gems and pearls go with the Aqua theme and this is my completed card.
I also created this card to submit to this week's chalelnge over at the challenge blog and their challenge this week is - 'I Did it Creations' - Keep it Simple. And also to the CUTE challenge being hosted this week at the Anything Goes Challenge Blog. I hope to see all my crafty friends join me in these fun new challenges.
My next card was created for a brand new challenge that started yesterday over at A Craft Little Place and this is Challenge # 57 A Color Challenge. The colors for this week are; Orange, Green and Brown, all colors that work out wonderful for a Halloween Card and that is exactly what I created with this adorable little 'Baby Pumpkin Boy' digi from C.C. Designs.
And I have one more to share and this card I created for fun and to get ahead on my Christmas Cards. It was created with a fun little Santa image from Bugaboo Stamps.
Now, I am off to Simply Scrapping Crafts to see what new challenges they have to offer this week. I have a few favorites there and I generally start off at the Stamp n Scrap Challenge, then head to the Copic Corner-Coloring Challenge and also stop by the Card Corner, to see what fun ideas they have.
Update: I finished up two card for challenges over at SSC and I'm back to share them with you now.
My first card was created for the new 'Card Corner' Challenge and if you join in, you'll find a wonderful sketch this week created my Maureen, to use as your inspiration. For my card is chose this sweet image 'Angel Happy' from A Day For Daisies. I colored her with my Copics and added a fine layer of white sparkling glitter to her wings and halo. I then used the sketch as a guide for my design and added some bling and sheer white ribbon.
And my last card for today, (I'm wiped out), was created for this week's Creative Corner Challenge at SSC. You can find all the details in the challenge and it's a fun one. This is the card I created and it's a bright and fun Halloween Card!
And that's it for me for today! I've had a fabulous day of crafting, but I'm now beat. Time to rest up and take it easy, before my Fibro flares up! Good Night!! :)

Taking a little break today...
Hi everyone -
My Fibro is acting up a bit today, so I thought it would be best to take a little break, put my feet up and rest. I know there are lots of fun challenges I want to work on and I hope to do some coloring, while I rest.
I am also very excited to tell you all that I won another awesome challenge and it was last week's chalelnge over at the I did it Creations Challenge blog. I entered this sweet and fun "Rainbow" themed card into this challenge and was very happy to win.
I was very touched the by the challenges that were promoting Autism Awareness and created my rainbow themed card, with this adorable image called 'Macie' which was designed by Lori Boyd. To read my original post and more about the challenge and also, the Mission 4 Macie, please go here!
My thanks to everyone who took part in the Autism Challenges and also to Jeanette and the sponsors for the fabulous prize! THANK YOU!!

Fall is coming...
...and it's very hard to believe that Summer ends tomorrow, but I can say I also am enjoying the nice fresh dry air. It's so much nicer to have all the windows open and feel the cool crisp air.
And with Fall in mind, I created two really fun cards this morning and both were inspired by a new sketch from the Stars & Stamps Blog. I also want to remind everyone that OWH is having a wonderful birthday celebration and there are many wonderful challenges and fabulous sponsors who have donated images and card ideas throughout the month. Please be sure to stop by today and you'll be very happy to find some super cute Freebie images, that were donated by Heather Dennis. There is at least one new challenge every day, so please stop by the blog daily too see what is new.
The sketch I used for my cards is from Challenge # 35, which you can find HERE! I also copied it over here for you to see. You can find a new Sketch every Sunday over at the Stars and Stamps blog and they are all fabulous.
I chose to make very cute and fun Halloween Cards and both of my images are from Bugaboo Stamps and part of the new September Stamp Club kit, which I found over at the store this weekend. I loved the stamps and the price is wonderful too.
In addition to the OWH Sketch Challenge, I am also submitting my cards to these new challenges:
And now I am off to visit my groups and then work on a few more cards. I hope you are all enjoying the last few days of Summer and looking forward to Fall and the Holiday Season.

Sunday afternoon!!
I have had a blast coloring some of my new images and it's been a very peaceful and relaxing day for me. I am working on two new Design Team projects, so you will have to wait a little bit before you see what I am working on, so be sure to come back and there are lots of new and exciting things coming up very fast!
I do have one challenge card to share and I'm here to do so now. This card was created with a few challenges in mind and was started for a color combo challenge over at SSC. The colors for this challenge are - Light Green, Dark Green, Red and Brown and I started my card with a wonderful 'Flower Ring' image from Isabella's Sketchbook. I colored with Copic Markers in shades of red and green and used my 'Chocolate' Spica Pen, for the floral stems. I added some gems in a deep brown color and also used Red Stickles to add sparkle and shine to the center of each flower. I used my Copic ABS system to spray paint a very light green background for my image and then use one of the Spellbinder dies to cut it out. Lastly, I added some dark brown ribbon and some paper from the Spiceberry set, I have fallen in love with.
My card is also being submitted to the following challenges:
I was so happy with the others she has designed, that I want back for more. If you are looking for a new Watermark or looking to change up your blog a bit, I highly recommend Wendy to you. She also designed my blog header, as well as, the Watermark I use for my Baby Bud Design Team creations If you hop on over to the blog HERE, you'll see samples of her work - you'll even see my new watermarks! I LOVE them all and think you'll be equally pleased with her work. I also want to thank my friend, Colleen, who recommended Wendy to me! It's been a pleasure to work with Wendy and I am also a member of her Digital Delights Group over at Simply Scrapping Crafts.
And now I am off to post my card to the challenge site and then work on my next project - Dinner!

Happy Sunday!!
Today is another lovely day here in New England. It's starting to feel a bit more like Fall, and the leaves are starting to turn. Yesterday, I saw some gorgeous Mums and Pumpkins over at the local garden shop and hope to add some to my deck soon. I'm not quite ready to say Goodbye to Summer, but I do now it's ending soon. I do love Fall, but Winter is not for me. I'm a warm weather girl and do not care for the bitter cold and snowy winter were have here!

It will also be 'Friday Freebie' day, so mark you calenders and be sure you hop on over on Friday, as the Freebies are available for only one day, and it's going to be a cutie! If you would like to see all the adorable Baby Bud images, you can find all them in the Etsy shop - Here! I hope to see you on Friday and hope you'll join in on our very FIRST Challenge.

WooHOO! I won a Bugaboo Challenge!!
....and I am so excited and had no idea until five minutes ago. I had been over at the Operation Write Home 'Stars and Stamps Blog' and was very excited to see that Jodie of Bugaboo Stamps was hosting a challenge for the OWH Birthday Celebration. I clicked on this LINK and look what I found - I won the last challenge!! My 'Don't Worry Be Happy' Bugaboo Sewing Bear card WON! WOOHOO!!! Here is a picture of the card I had submitted to the 'A Stitch in Time Challenge' and I can now pick out (7) new images from Bugaboo Stamps! Woohoo! Perfect timing to because I was just about to being on my new card for this week's challenge over at the Stars and Stamps blog.
I am off to Bugaboo to pick out my new stamps!! Yippee!!!! My special thanks to Jodie of Bugaboo Stamps and also to Operation Write Home for having Bugaboo as a sponsor over at the Stars and Stamps blog!!! THANK YOU !!
Afternoon Update:
Have you been over to Bugaboo Stamps in the past week? If so, did you see the September Digi Stamp Club Set? If not, then hop on over and check it out. I found it while browsing today and thought it was absolutely wonderful. I know, I'm bad, but I LOVE digital images and the price is fabulous -- 20 Images fro $20.00! WOOHOO! In case you can't guess, I bought it and anyone else who does will also have their name entered to WIN the October Set for FREE! Yes, for Free!! Yaay!!!
I am very pleased to be back and wanted to share my new card with you. This card was created for Operation Write Home and several of the challenges who are sponsoring OWH cards this month. My digital image is from Bugaboo and if you LOVE it and want to add it to your collection, you can find it HERE!
I have had this image for about a month and already created a few different cards with this cute Santa. He was colored with my Copics and then cut out. I then cut out two different shapes and I used two new Holiday themed Designer papers with Spellbinder Dies. The Black and White paper behind Santa is the from Memory Box and is part of the Spiceberry collection that I have fell in love with earlier this week. I bought mine from from Susana's Custom Art & Card Design, which is where I also bought the striped paper with is from Basic Grey's Jovial Set. I used a Martha Stewart Snowflake punch to create the burgundy snowflakes and the others dimensional snowflakes were 'found' in my stash and are from American Crafts. My Holiday Hugs is a digi sentiment I created and then cut out with a Stampin' up punches. Normally, I use ultra-fine white Glitter for white, but OWH cards can NOT contain glitter, so to add a bit of shimmer, I painted Santa's beard and hat and Hat with some Shimmerz in 'Pixie Dust' and then tops it with a fine layer of 3D Crystal Accents. I hope you'll like him.
I am also entering my Santa Card to the following challenges:

- Purple is my favorite color and ironically - Purple is the Awareness Ribbon color for Fibromyalgia, a chronic illness I lived with for over 18 years. In, March of 2015, I was diagnosed with Stage IV Lung Cancer which had spread to my brain. I am fighting hard to win this battle and determined to beat it. I have a amazing Oncology Team, along with the LOVE and SUPPORT of all my family and friends! I am a Mom to two grown sons, Alex is now 25 and married to Acacia, my wonderful new "Daughter" and the parents to my precious Grand-Daughter Harper, and Brian amazingly is 30 and now lives in San Diego. My boys are the greatest loves of my life. Hubby, me and our two "Pups", Skye and Zeva, two adorable Chiweenies we rescued in 2012, all live very happily in a tiny coastal town in Massachusetts. We lost our dear "Scoutie", a Purebred Dachshund, in April of 2015. I still miss him and will forever cherish his memory. I am an avid card-maker and totally love every minute I can spend in my craft room. It's become my passion, a wonderful way to relax and is my form or "therapy".
