A fun Sunday...

   Today is going to be a fun and creative day for me.   I'm still working on some awesome challenges for the Back to School Crop Party over at Simply Scrapping Crafts.  There are so many fun challenges, that I am having a hard time deciding which ones I want to join in.


   My first card today for the Literature Class - Challenge and Amy has challenged us all to create a project that can be related to a book!  You can use the cover of a back as inspiration, the name of a book, you can alter a book, or even cut up a book to make embellishments for your card.  For my card, I decided to create a homemade flower with book print.  I cut out a few different petal shapes, then sprayed them with my Copic ABS in two blue green shades, I then added some 'smooch' paint and glitter to make them sparkle.  My image is another wonderful 'Angel' image from 'A Day For Daisies' and this Angel card was also created for one of the challenges over at the 'Stars & Stamps Blog', in honor of Operation Write Home's - Birthday Bash Celebration!!

   
  My second card was created for Pryn's 'Chemistry Class' and this was our Challenge - (copied over from SSC).  

     I am Pryn and I will be your teacher this semester.  Your first assignment may seem tough, but I assure you it is a lot of fun!  Using the Period Table of Elements, your challenge is to pick one element and use the letters of its symbol to create a formula for your layout, card or project.  

Examples:

He = Helium

The letter H = "Happy Birthday" sentiment

The letter e = Elegant style

Zr = Zirconium

The letter Z = Zoo theme

The letter r = Rhinoceros

    How fun!  For my project, I chose the Element Symbol PD, (which is Palladium) and I used my letters this way !  P for Purple (of course) and D for Distressed.  I created this Purple/Distressed fun Halloween Card as my Submission.
