Happy Thursday...

It's another gorgeous day here in Massachusetts with beautiful bright blue skies, lots of sun and very comfy fall-like temps.  Today is the first day I actually put on a pair of long pants versus wearing shorts, capris or a sundress...and in a way that's make me sad, because I am NOT a winter girl.  Winter is really hard on Fibro and I find that I hurt a whole lot more in the cold temps, so I am hoping we have a mild winter!  Wish me luck!

Today, I'm posting three new Holiday Cards that I made last night and they were all based on this month's 'A Year in Cards' Class over at Two Peas.   I LOVE this class and having been taking it for well over a year.  It's taught my Kristina Werner and there is a new class on the 15th of each month.  You can find the current class HERE and not only does it include a full video tutorial, each month there is also a PDF file that you can save or print out for future use.

I started taking the classes back in 2009 and all of the videos and PDF's for 2009 and 2010 are available for anyone to wants to start at the beginning.  Kristina does a great job, making it very easy to follow and teaches lots of fun techniques.  If you would like to see the 2009 classes, go HERE and for the 2010 classes you can go HERE!!

And here are the cards I created for the September Class -

As you can see, the class this month featured Christmas cards which is wonderful, as most crafters do like to get a head start on their cards.  It's an easy class to follow and you can use your own supplies, or order the supplies Kristina uses from the site.  I like to use my own products and yesterday was the perfect day, as I had two orders of new supplies arrive.  I had ordered some awesome new goodies from Susana's Custom Card Art & Design and used the some of my new Spiceberry paper, for these cards.  I am in LOVE with this paper and ordering from Susana is fabulous, she such a sweet person, ships super fast and has excellent Customer Service.  She's a doll and has become a great friend.  I highly recommend you visit her store and tell her Lisa says Hi!!

And if that was not enough fun, later on the big brown truck drove up with my Stampin' Up order and one of my favorites products in that order was this fabulous new Paper, perfect for cards!  It's so pretty and the colors are really fun.  I also joined a new Stampin' Up group at SSC and also signed up to be a member Catherine Pooler's - Club InBox, a fun Stampin' Up club!

I have been on a bit of a shopping spree and pretty much used up the last of my Birthday money this week.  It's been fun and now I have a great supply of new things to work with.  I'm off now to scope out some FUN new challenges!  Have a super day and as always, Happy Crafting!!

A Little About Me

Purple is my favorite color and ironically - Purple is the Awareness Ribbon color for Fibromyalgia, a chronic illness I lived with for over 18 years. In, March of 2015, I was diagnosed with Stage IV Lung Cancer which had spread to my brain. I am fighting hard to win this battle and determined to beat it. I have a amazing Oncology Team, along with the LOVE and SUPPORT of all my family and friends! I am a Mom to two grown sons, Alex is now 25 and married to Acacia, my wonderful new "Daughter" and the parents to my precious Grand-Daughter Harper, and Brian amazingly is 30 and now lives in San Diego. My boys are the greatest loves of my life. Hubby, me and our two "Pups", Skye and Zeva, two adorable Chiweenies we rescued in 2012, all live very happily in a tiny coastal town in Massachusetts. We lost our dear "Scoutie", a Purebred Dachshund, in April of 2015. I still miss him and will forever cherish his memory. I am an avid card-maker and totally love every minute I can spend in my craft room. It's become my passion, a wonderful way to relax and is my form or "therapy".
