Good Morning,
I am very happy to let everyone know that Hurricane Earl came through overnight and it was really nothing but a small rainstorm. I am very happy that we did not have any damage and we really did not even have much rain of wind. I do think the Southern Coast and Islands probably had more rain and wind, but it's now a lovely blue-sky day, bright and sunny with lovely dry air and a light sea breeze...WONDERFUL!!
I am working on challenge cards today and have one new card to share now. This card was created with a new digi image that I bought this week from - A Day for Daisies. My card was created for their very first challenge which you can find on the challenge blog - The Flowers Basket Challenge Blog. The first challenge is called Happiness is! And to me happiness is so many things -- Love, Being a Mom, My Hubby, Crafts, The Beach and so much more. When I first saw this wonderful image it reminded me of waking up each morning and hearing the birds sing...and those days are always a nice start and a happy thing for me.
I hope you'll enjoy this card and it will help to remind you of all the things that make you feel Happy. My card is also being submitted to the following challenges:

I love the cheerful happy colors you chose for this card Lisa! Your card makes me happy just looking at it.
For my rose image over at CDAC I used stickles. I do have some of the Pearl Pens but I don't feel I have quite the same control over the flow as with stickles. I had already colored the image so I didn't want to mess up. :-/
It is funny how we met up, and then you got me to coloring/card making isn't it?! The only scrapping I had ever done was an album a year ago for my Mom's 80th Birthday. I think it all means that we have to meet up~maybe for CHA or something like that?!

this is such a pretty card! I, too, love to listen to the birds. I have a wonderful owl that sits outside my window, even though we live in town, and he serenades me all through the day..... :) glad to be a Lady Bud with you!
