Happy Friday!!!

Be sure to hop on over to The Outlawz for our brand new Festive Friday Challenge, where our themes this week are:
Beer Can Appreciation Day
Chocolate Cake Day
Irish Coffee Appreciation Day and
Bubble Wrap Day!!

Who would have know we had all these fun days to "celebrate" the last week in January!   For my card this week and because I have been "Craving" some Chocolate Cake, I made a Birthday Card, using a super cute digi image from Bugaboo Stamps, which I colored with my Copics and some sparkling glitter!!   Be sure to hop on over to Bugaboo every Friday, where you can download their "Friday Freebie"!!

And speaking of Coloring, my friend Kathy Racoosin is hosting another fabulous 30-day Coloring Challenge on her blog - The Daily Marker, and it starts on Monday, February 1st.!!

Kathy is a fabulous designer and a true artist when it comes to coloring.   I adore her and feel so lucky to have met her in person, she's a gem and is also a lot of fun!   Her 30 Day Coloring Challenges are always a lot of fun and are well-loved for all!   For all the details, please visit this POST!!   Kathy is also an amazing cook and will often share some of the recipes with us on her blog, including this great post and video where she makes some "Yummy" goodies for Valentine's Day that I am dying to try!   Here is a picture to show you just how delicious they look.  (Courtesy of Kathy's Blog).

I also wanted to post a little update about the fabulous "Watercolor for Cardmakers" class that I'm currently taking over the Online Card Classroom.  Sadly, due to having had "cataract surgery" this week, I have fallen behind on painting, but I have been watching every lesson and they have all been amazing.   The class content and instructions videos are superb, I can't begin to tell you just how fantastic this class has been!   A huge value and one I highly recommend!!  I am planning to spend all weekend catching up and will be sharing more cards and class projects soon!   Note:   The surgery was a total success and I am so happy to have wonderful vision again in my left eye!  YAY!!

Stay tuned on Sunday (January 31st),  for a special post I'll be sharing as a Guest Designer for the a2z Scrapbooking Store and Challenge blog, both of which are very near and dear to my heart!  As you know I was part of the a2z Design Team for well over a year and truly enjoyed every minute!  I had planned to apply for their latest DT call, but decided it would be best to stick with one team for now, at least until I return my wonderful vacation to San Diego, which starts in just nine days!  YAY!!

In the meantime, I'm having a blast being back on the DT at The Outlawz Challenge Group and really hope you'll come on over and join the fun!!

That's it for today !!  Have a Fantastic Friday and a wonderful weekend!

A Little About Me

My photo
Northeastern, Massachusetts, United States
Purple is my favorite color and ironically - Purple is the Awareness Ribbon color for Fibromyalgia, a chronic illness I lived with for over 18 years. In, March of 2015, I was diagnosed with Stage IV Lung Cancer which had spread to my brain. I am fighting hard to win this battle and determined to beat it. I have a amazing Oncology Team, along with the LOVE and SUPPORT of all my family and friends! I am a Mom to two grown sons, Alex is now 25 and married to Acacia, my wonderful new "Daughter" and the parents to my precious Grand-Daughter Harper, and Brian amazingly is 30 and now lives in San Diego. My boys are the greatest loves of my life. Hubby, me and our two "Pups", Skye and Zeva, two adorable Chiweenies we rescued in 2012, all live very happily in a tiny coastal town in Massachusetts. We lost our dear "Scoutie", a Purebred Dachshund, in April of 2015. I still miss him and will forever cherish his memory. I am an avid card-maker and totally love every minute I can spend in my craft room. It's become my passion, a wonderful way to relax and is my form or "therapy".
