A little hello....

....Just stopping by with a little hello and to share two more Christmas Cards that I created yesterday.  I ma happy to say that I'm getting closer to being done and hopefully can finish up in the next few days.   I've also been doing some more shopping and that is going well too, so another plus.  I think that I have about 80% done, if not maybe a bit more!  Yippee!!

Today I plan to work on more cards and have decided to try and make as many of them fit in with some of my favorite challenges too.   The two I made yesterday both were inspired by this week's challenges over at SSC and my first card was created for the Copic Coloring challenge, which you can find HERE!  Our theme was to create a Christmas Card and to use Red and Green, which was fun and working out perfect.   This is my card and the cute little image is Nelly from Stamp Fairy

My second card was also created for a challenge at SSC and this one is for the Stamp & Scrap Challenge and the theme in this week's challenge is to 'De-Stress'....(perfect for me)...slow down, relax and make a fun card using a form of Distressing.   This is my 'de-stressing' card and I used my Distrezz-it-All to give all my edges, a very distressed look.  My little Snow 'egg' Man is a digi from Bugaboo!

Oh and I have one more card to share and this was not for a challenge, but a card I created for my God-Daughter's Birthday, which was yesterday.  She's very special to be and always will be.  She's also the daughter of one of my very best friend's and a friend I have had all of my life.  I'm so lucky to have so many friends, and to have had some for years and years.  They are all very much like my family and I love them with all my heart.

Now I am off to continue to work on more cards and I do hope to fit them in with more challenges.  One will be this week's Card Corner Challenge and our challenge this week is to create a project and use sheet music or any type of musical notes.

I have one more really awesome challenge that I want to try and work on a project for and that is the December Copic Coloring Challenge over Suzanne Dean's - Color Me Creative Classroom.  This challenge is OPEN to all and has some fabulous prizes!   It's a wonderful inspiration challenge and you can find all the details HERE!!   Suzanne has provided us with two wonderful images and I really want to play along!   Luckily, this challenge runs for all of December, so we all have until - December 29th to upload our project -- Yippee!!

     I'm now off to create....

Have a great day....

Your cards are sooo cute Lis, and the birthday card is beautiful! Glad you're almost finished with all your holiday stuff. I haven't started my cards, my shopping and haven't put up the tree yet. ;)

Oh and your highlighting of the green ornament is fantastic~you did it just right to give the ornament dimension~love it!

A Little About Me

My photo
Northeastern, Massachusetts, United States
Purple is my favorite color and ironically - Purple is the Awareness Ribbon color for Fibromyalgia, a chronic illness I lived with for over 18 years. In, March of 2015, I was diagnosed with Stage IV Lung Cancer which had spread to my brain. I am fighting hard to win this battle and determined to beat it. I have a amazing Oncology Team, along with the LOVE and SUPPORT of all my family and friends! I am a Mom to two grown sons, Alex is now 25 and married to Acacia, my wonderful new "Daughter" and the parents to my precious Grand-Daughter Harper, and Brian amazingly is 30 and now lives in San Diego. My boys are the greatest loves of my life. Hubby, me and our two "Pups", Skye and Zeva, two adorable Chiweenies we rescued in 2012, all live very happily in a tiny coastal town in Massachusetts. We lost our dear "Scoutie", a Purebred Dachshund, in April of 2015. I still miss him and will forever cherish his memory. I am an avid card-maker and totally love every minute I can spend in my craft room. It's become my passion, a wonderful way to relax and is my form or "therapy".
