A Sensational Saturday!!

It has turned out to be a really nice day here and for all those people who have gone into the city (Boston) to watch the Bruin's Parade, I'm sure it must be amazing.   I've been watching it a bit on TV and to see over a million fans lining the streets is awesome and a wonderful tribute to our home Team!!

I'm a bit behind in posting but have quite a few new cards and things to share!  I'm starting first with the two cards that I actually created yesterday, but did not have time to post.   My first card was inspired by this week's Copic Challenge over at 'The Outlawz', which you'll find HERE!!  Our challenge was to color pleats and I chose this sweet little image from Tiddly Inks.

My next card was also created, for some new challenges and it was started based on this week's Color Combo Challenge over at SSC.   I just love bright fun colors, so it was fun for me to create a card for the challenge.  My image is one of my favorites by Lori Boyd and is also perfect for Summer Cards.

This card is also being submitted to the SUMMER FUN challenge over at the 'Through the Craftroom Door' Site.   NOTE:   This fun new Challenge group is OPEN to ALL and everyone is welcome to come on over and join the group!

I have to admit that I really love Lori's images and was kind of sad when I found out that the challenges over at the blog were being cancelled.  So...you can imagine how happy and surprised I was to find a brand new Sketch Challenge this week and my next card was created for that challenge and based on this sketch, which you can also find over on the blog HERE!!

For my card, I chose little sweet little 'Ella' digi, which is one of my favorites from the Puddle Jumper collection.   If you add her to your collection, your image will also includes her Baby Doll, as shown in this picture, but for me card I wanted Ella to shine all on her own.

My sweet Ella card is being submitted to these challenges:
And this is the last card I have to share at this moment, but hope to be back later with some more.   This card was created for a new Get Hippity with Ippity Inspired Challenge being hosted by Aletha in her Ippity Group, which you can find HERE on SSC.  I was one of the lucky winners of  challenge two and  want to again thank Aletha for the sweet stamp that I won!!    Here is a picture - isn't it cute!!

For the new challenge, our theme was to use 'Fruit' somewhere on your project and you can create any product, as long as it has fruit.   This is the card that I created for the 'Tooty Fruity' Challenge and I invited you all to hop on over and join the group and also play along.

I really had fun with this card and it would look awesome in my Mom's Kitchen.  She has kind of a Strawberry/Country theme and it was that theme that inspired me to make this card!

I also wanted to say a Big THANK YOU to all the DT Girlz at  The Outlawz for all the fun challenges they host every week.  As you know I love the challenges and try to play in as many as I can.  For me, it's all about practice and fun and it's a bonus to actually win and I really have been so lucky.  My thanks to Maureen, who kindly donated the Stampin' UP stamp set that I won in their CAS Card Challenge!  Thank you all so much again and Congratulations to ALL those who also won during the big Summer Party!!

I'm off now to finish up some more cards I have in the works, and will be back a bit later to update my post!  Wishing everyone a SENSATIONAL SATURDAY!!

A Little About Me

My Photo
Northeastern, Massachusetts, United States
Purple is my favorite color and ironically - Purple is the Awareness Ribbon color for Fibromyalgia, an illness I personally live with. I had to stop working in 2006 due to Fibro and Degenerative Disc Disease. It's been a tough road at times, but I have a wonderful family and fantastic friends. I am a Mom to two awesome sons (Ages 21 and 26) and a wife and friend to a wonderful Hubby. We live in a tiny coastal community in Massachusetts and have lived here all my life. My hubby and my boys are my whole world and mean every thing to me! I cherish all three of my guys!! I am very lucky to be blessed with wonderful friends. I adore and cherish each of my friends as much as my family! I am an avid card-maker and love all types and stamping, and also love coloring with my Copics. I'm very lucky to have this whole new world on online friends that I've met through my Craft Groups. HUGS TO YOU ALL!!
