I've been Chibi'd!!!!

A few weeks ago, I saw that my friend, Danni, had posted about being Chibi'd over at Facebook.  As soon as I see her adorable Chibi image, I knew that I had to find out about having one made for me.   It was from Danni's post that I linked over to find Kristy, who is the creator of these fabulous Chibi characters.      Her talent is amazing and I was so impressed with her creativity!   She is also the owner and creator of  'The Odd Girl' and you can visit her store and check out her adorable stamps HERE!

Today, I am happy to now have my very own Chibi (me) and I am here to share it with you now.  This is me ....!
Don't you just love how they come out and I'm so fond of the fact that she even put me in a purple top!!  Just my style too.  I'm so excited and wanted to again say THANK YOU to Kristy for creating a whole new world of Chibi's.   Do you want one of your own?  If you are interested, you can find more details on Kristy's Chibi site here and I will also happily recommended her work.  I know she has a waiting list, but it me it was worth the wait and at the time I contacted Kristy, it wasn't too long!!

If you are a Facebook Member your can also go here to the Chibi Chick's Facebook Page and see even more Chibis!   They are really fun and perfect for blogs, groups, forum and even for my Pinterest page -- which has fast become one of my newest addictions.  A really cool site full of fabulous pictures, creativity and inspiration.

And while I am here -- I have two new cards to share today and both were created for challenges at 'The Outlawz Group'.   The first card was created for this week's POM Challenge and our theme this week is - Buttons and Bows.   This is my card, which is also full of my favorite color - Purple, of course.

And next I have my card for today's new Copic Coloring Challenge, and our challenge this week is to color - Green and Pink!   My image today is from PollyCraft and I chose to color up Chester In Love, who I think makes a very fun card.  Pollycraft is also one of the new sponsors and that also inspired to use one of their adorable images.   You can find many more over in the store HERE!!

And before I sign off -- I want to remind everyone to be sure to make your calender and be sure to hop on over to the big SUMMER PARTY being hosted by The Outlawz starting this Sunday!   I'm sure it will be a fun-filled week, with lots of new challenges.   The Girlz have already put together a great list of sponsors who have been been very generous with their prizes!   Maybe you'll be one of the lucky winners....!!  Hope to see you there and as always ---  Happy Crafting!!!

I just saw your Chibi on the WFCo FB page and came over here to fuss that you didn't tell me you had it! BUT, once I got here, I saw that you posted your new Chibi today and I wasn't just out of the loop! :D It looks just like you!

And your cards look great! I really like the embossed edges on the first one.

A Little About Me

My photo
Northeastern, Massachusetts, United States
Purple is my favorite color and ironically - Purple is the Awareness Ribbon color for Fibromyalgia, a chronic illness I lived with for over 18 years. In, March of 2015, I was diagnosed with Stage IV Lung Cancer which had spread to my brain. I am fighting hard to win this battle and determined to beat it. I have a amazing Oncology Team, along with the LOVE and SUPPORT of all my family and friends! I am a Mom to two grown sons, Alex is now 25 and married to Acacia, my wonderful new "Daughter" and the parents to my precious Grand-Daughter Harper, and Brian amazingly is 30 and now lives in San Diego. My boys are the greatest loves of my life. Hubby, me and our two "Pups", Skye and Zeva, two adorable Chiweenies we rescued in 2012, all live very happily in a tiny coastal town in Massachusetts. We lost our dear "Scoutie", a Purebred Dachshund, in April of 2015. I still miss him and will forever cherish his memory. I am an avid card-maker and totally love every minute I can spend in my craft room. It's become my passion, a wonderful way to relax and is my form or "therapy".
