Short and sweet....

....Not one of my best days  -- this is a quick post and I'm simply posting the one card I created today!   It was created for today's new CAS Challenge over at The Outlawz.   I have copied over the challenge information and invite you all to play along.  This is the very first challenge for their SUMMER PARTY!

This week's challenge is to choose one item from each category
and to make your own Summer themed creation.

Colors:
A.  Red, Black & White
B.  Blue, Green & Pink
C.  Brown, Turquoise & Kraft

Technique:
A.  Embossing
B.  Paper Piercing
C.  One Layer Card

Embellies:
A.  Ribbon
B.  Buttons
C. Glitter

And this is the card that I created and submitted.  For my choices I went with - Blue, Green and Pink, as my colors, my technique was dry embossing and I used Glitter as my Embellishment.   My stamp is and oldie but goodie by Inkadinkado.  It's called Butterfly Flourish and it's actually one of my older stamps, but also one I still like very much!

And that was it for the day!    I had also started on two cards for the new Sketch Challenge over at the Stars & Stamps Blog, but did not like how either card came out, so I am starting over.  I hope you have something better to share tomorrow.  Today is not at all a creative day for me.  Even my CAS card is not one of my favorites.  I feel like it's missing something, yet I know for CAS -- less is best?    If I find time, and can come up with something I like even more, I will delete that card from the challenge and add something new!  I have been on a roll lately, but today....nothing!  My Mojo is totally missing!

Hoping tomorrow will be a much more creative day!   Bye for today!

A Little About Me

My photo
Northeastern, Massachusetts, United States
Purple is my favorite color and ironically - Purple is the Awareness Ribbon color for Fibromyalgia, a chronic illness I lived with for over 18 years. In, March of 2015, I was diagnosed with Stage IV Lung Cancer which had spread to my brain. I am fighting hard to win this battle and determined to beat it. I have a amazing Oncology Team, along with the LOVE and SUPPORT of all my family and friends! I am a Mom to two grown sons, Alex is now 25 and married to Acacia, my wonderful new "Daughter" and the parents to my precious Grand-Daughter Harper, and Brian amazingly is 30 and now lives in San Diego. My boys are the greatest loves of my life. Hubby, me and our two "Pups", Skye and Zeva, two adorable Chiweenies we rescued in 2012, all live very happily in a tiny coastal town in Massachusetts. We lost our dear "Scoutie", a Purebred Dachshund, in April of 2015. I still miss him and will forever cherish his memory. I am an avid card-maker and totally love every minute I can spend in my craft room. It's become my passion, a wonderful way to relax and is my form or "therapy".
