Oh NO!!!!

...This is just not starting out be be a good day, I sure hope this is not a sign of my week ahead and hope for better days.   A rainy, dreary Monday is never a good start to any week and what's worse is to realize your blog post is for the wrong challenge,  ARGH!!!   I over slept...woke up with a pounding headache, shut off my alarm and went back to sleep.   Once I did get up I came to my blog to make sure my scheduled post had worked and that's when I quickly realized that today's post for the new challenge at StampFairy, was totally the WRONG.  I mixed up my dates and everything was for the wrong week......

Needless to say, I have removed that post and I apologize for anyone who may have started a card based on the wrong theme?  I will now be revising my post and should be back with a brand new post in about an hour!!

In the meantime, if you are ready to play, please hop on over to our Challenge Blog, where you will find all the 'correct' details for this week's challenge and please bear with me!

Okay, I am back! - Now that I have had some 'coffee' and a bit of time to wake up, I am hereto  post the correct information about this week's new challenge over at StampFairy.   This week we have a really fun Sketch for you, created by Gerda.   I have copied it over from the challenge blog to share with you here -- I loved it and think you will too -

And this is my card, based on Gerda's awesome sketch.

I had so much fun with this and for my card I chose to use one of my favorite bears, Lenny and in this image Lenny is all decked out in his 'Lady Bug' outfit.   I also really enjoy using sketches as a way to come up with new cards ideas and hope that Gerda will continue to add more to the challenges.  I hope you will also enjoy it and I'll be looking forward to seeing what wonderful cards you create.  You can find all the details over on the challenge blog and a wonderful selection of images to use for your project at the StampFairy store.

I'd also like to introduce to you 'Annette' who will be a Guest Design Team member with us for month the of March.  She's a wonderful crafter and has been a participant in many of our challenges.  You can find her card over on the Challenge blog along with a wonderful selection of creations the Design Team has to share!  You can also visit her wonderful blog Here!!   Welcome Netty!!

Thanks so much for 'bearing' with me, while I fixed my big OOPS!   Luckily, I work on all of my projects ahead of time, so I am thankful that my card was done.  For those of you who may have had an early sneak peek of my card for next week, I hope to now for on a new card to share next week!

    Happy Monday and Happy Crafting!!

LOL
Ive come veeeeeery close to doing the same thing on a number of occasions, so don't feel bad. I also often forget who I'm representing when I thank people for joining in our challenges. :-)
Love your spotty flower!

Cute card! I hate "off" Mondays like that, too! I hope yours turns bright and sunny, and heads in a positive direction as the day progresses!

Oh Lis, I'm sorry your week started like that. You've recovered rapidly though and your card for the challenge this week is adorable. I love the color combo with the gray - you don't often see it used as a main color and that makes this unique and quite dramatic. Your fabulous embellishments really stand out against the gray color. And your coloring of adorable Lenny is the tops. Hope the rest of your week is wonderful!

A Little About Me

My photo
Northeastern, Massachusetts, United States
Purple is my favorite color and ironically - Purple is the Awareness Ribbon color for Fibromyalgia, a chronic illness I lived with for over 18 years. In, March of 2015, I was diagnosed with Stage IV Lung Cancer which had spread to my brain. I am fighting hard to win this battle and determined to beat it. I have a amazing Oncology Team, along with the LOVE and SUPPORT of all my family and friends! I am a Mom to two grown sons, Alex is now 25 and married to Acacia, my wonderful new "Daughter" and the parents to my precious Grand-Daughter Harper, and Brian amazingly is 30 and now lives in San Diego. My boys are the greatest loves of my life. Hubby, me and our two "Pups", Skye and Zeva, two adorable Chiweenies we rescued in 2012, all live very happily in a tiny coastal town in Massachusetts. We lost our dear "Scoutie", a Purebred Dachshund, in April of 2015. I still miss him and will forever cherish his memory. I am an avid card-maker and totally love every minute I can spend in my craft room. It's become my passion, a wonderful way to relax and is my form or "therapy".
