Almost done....! And a PARTY tonight!!

I'm kind of slow today and hurting a bit!  Needless to say, have a mini Fibro flare is not what I wanted this week, but I know it could be worse, so I am very thankful that I still was able to spend some time creating!!  I did not accomplish as much as I would have liked to, but the good news is that I did have another wonderful day in the Inspiration Showcase class and I have now finished up all the hearts for my canvas.

On the downside, I did not have the energy to finish up any cards today, but I hope to start on those tomorrow and I love love love what Jennifer showed us today.  There is one Christmas Card that I think is adorable and I'm going to try and CASE it to share on my blog.   I already own the Hero Arts Stamp that she used and think I can make a care that will be very similar to hers.   I'm also very happy to still have a few more days in class and will enjoy it as much as I can.   I have completed all the hearts, but there a few I made make over.    I guess I'll decide before I adhere them to my canvas, but I can show you where I am as of today.   Our video today concentrated on the last three, which go on the bottom row along with the word CREATE, but I may simply not die cut a word and fill my canvas all the hearts.

This is a photo of the three that I did today and each one, as all, is a new technique and something different.  I have learned to much in this class and what I love most is that I can use everything for cards!!  YIPPEE!

And here is one quick photo of my canvas and how I have laid out as of now.  I'm certain I will likely change it, but it does each heart and I really am pretty happy with how it came out!  It's a ton of work, but well worth it to me.

It's much different than my first one, but these colors are much more me and I really love so many of the hearts~   I'm also excited that I had my brand new Seasonal Distress Inks to use today and the dark Purple heart on the bottom row (with the butterfly) was created using that awesome new Purple color, named - Seedless Preserves.  Oh and for any of you were not able to get a set -- GOOD NEWS!   Tim Holtz has a great post on his blog today (HERE) about how fast these sold out and he also shares the news that Ranger is going already in production on a second release -- due to shipping out in the next few weeks.   And on top of that there will now be MORE seasonal Distress Inks and the 'Winter' Set is expected to hit the marker around early November     The first limited edition Fall set  SOLD OUT in 6 HOURS.....Imagine that!!!  Ranger and Tim did a great job on these and that also goes to share, just how many of use LOVE these products!!   -- Congratulations!!

I have have a couple of images that show the colors in more details and they are really nice!!  I love them ALL even more than I had expected!   I'll be sure to buy more, once the new sets are ready to hit the market!!

These are the colors simply smeared across white cardstock.

This is the same set, but I sprayed over them with one spritz of
Pearl Pearls Mist!!   The sparkle is amazing!

And here is a quick tag!!
I also added a touch of Pearl Mist to this!!

I absolutely LOVE the purple and it's BY far the best purple that Ranger has, in my honest opinion.  And believe me, I am a huge fan of Purple, so I'm thrilled that this set has such a nice color in it!   Can you say LOVE?   Yes, I sure do!
And lastly this is the piece I created today to use for one of my hearts.  I stared by colored a piece of white cardstock in the purple.   I then took a flourish image, added the orange, misted it with perfect pearls must and stamped it on top.  I made a bad choice in my stamp, so it did not show up, like I hoped, but I simply then took another HA background stamp, dabbed it with Ranger Paint, in pearl and stamped that on top.  I used my heat tool to set it and this was what I had left after I cut my heart.

And that my friends, is it for today!   My Fibro is acting up and I'm really sore!  I need to rest for now because I have some big plans for night.

I'm very happy to be coming back online later and will be back at 7pm for the big Gilli One Year Birthday Party being celebrated over at Suzanne Dean's Color Me Creative Classroom!!    If you love Gilli and want to PARTY and join the FUN -- Please come on over at 7 PM Eastern Time for a LIVE chat and a fun Scavenger Hunt.   These are always a lot of FUN and I'll bet there will be some cool prizes to be won!!   I'm also very happy for Anary, as she celebrates one year of her own stamp line!!    She's amazing and all her Gilli images are adorable!!!    Happy BIRTHDAY!!!

Hope you feel better now and rest up to party! Gorgeous, gorgeous, I only have the first row of hearts done, hehe. :) I'll keep up this week. :) I'm so jealous, I ordered the TH limited edition ink pad online, keeping my fingers crossed that they are not out yet. But let me know if the winter collection comes out, okay? :D Have a great day! Hugs!

A Little About Me

My photo
Northeastern, Massachusetts, United States
Purple is my favorite color and ironically - Purple is the Awareness Ribbon color for Fibromyalgia, a chronic illness I lived with for over 18 years. In, March of 2015, I was diagnosed with Stage IV Lung Cancer which had spread to my brain. I am fighting hard to win this battle and determined to beat it. I have a amazing Oncology Team, along with the LOVE and SUPPORT of all my family and friends! I am a Mom to two grown sons, Alex is now 25 and married to Acacia, my wonderful new "Daughter" and the parents to my precious Grand-Daughter Harper, and Brian amazingly is 30 and now lives in San Diego. My boys are the greatest loves of my life. Hubby, me and our two "Pups", Skye and Zeva, two adorable Chiweenies we rescued in 2012, all live very happily in a tiny coastal town in Massachusetts. We lost our dear "Scoutie", a Purebred Dachshund, in April of 2015. I still miss him and will forever cherish his memory. I am an avid card-maker and totally love every minute I can spend in my craft room. It's become my passion, a wonderful way to relax and is my form or "therapy".
