Rain Rain -- Please go away.....

.....and no need to come back any day, at least not for a few weeks!!    We have had nothing but clouds and rain all week and now everything just seems to be totally drenched!  There is some flooding and it's so wet, damp, dark and dreary.   What a terrible week and of course, this is one of the week's that Hubby took as vacation -- Yuk!   He had planned to stain our deck and also do some of the Fall yard-work, but needless to say that is not happening this week.   Luckily, he has some indoor projects keeping him busy and hopefully, the weekend will be better.

   I've had a busy week and a lot of fun working on projects for upcoming challenges over at Through The Craftroom Door.  I really love being part of the new Design team and it's been fun to have this new focus.  I'd also like to remind you that we currently have a fun challenge and I hope you are all playing along.  You can find all the details on our blog HERE!!

    And speaking of challenges I have quite a few new cards to share.  With all this rain, I have had a lot of time in my craft room, which has been fun for me.    My first card today was inspired by a few new challenges and is a fun Fall-themed card that I made yesterday.  It features a cute digi image from Bugaboo Stamps and was created based on this week's sketch challenge over at The Outlawz.

   My next card was based on another fun sketch and this one came from the Wacky Wednesday Challenge which is hosted at PCP and at CDAC, by Bugaboo.

My Card

   This everyday/friendship card is being submitted to both Wacky Wednesday Challenges, along with the 'Just Between Friends' Challenge over at 'My Time to Craft'.  

   My next card was created today and the idea was based on this week's 'Twisted Thursday' Challenge over at 'The Outlawz'.  The theme for this week is to use a variety of Die Cuts/Punches on your card, which is exactly what I did for my card.

    I started by breaking out my brand new Blossom Die from Spellbinders and created this fun flower.   I cut it from one of the new background papers I had created with my twinkling H20's and then added a variety of little pearl accents.  These awesome pearls were part of the prize packet I won from Pizzazz Aplenty and I also used this great little (Gel picker) tool to quickly as easily add them to my flower.  I then cut a variety of other shapes in matching and contrasting colors, picked out some lavender flowers and a little butterfly and put it all together to make this pretty Thank You Card.

     This card is being submitted to each of these challenges and I welcome you to join the fun:
