Copics - Coloring and Challenges!!

I also finished up this card  which is was a fun card that I made for the "Copic Colour Challenge"!

I really love the colors that that chose this week and this time I actually had them all, which made it really fun!  These are the colors --
I used the Y21 along to another Yellow and and E35 color to create the blonde curly hair for this little fairly and then I used both the B93 and BG15 colors for her little outfit along with some lighter shades all in blue and blue green to blend the colors together.  Her face was colored with E01, E00 and R20, as were her legs and arms.   I added some "Great Impression's Sparkling Ice" Glitter to her wings to make them really Sparkle,  I cut out the image with a new Spellbinder die and then simply layered it on some matching papers and added that to a dark tea card base!  I love lots of layers and found the papers in my scraps that worked out to match very well!  It was a really FUN card to make.

And after that, I created a second card, also in the same themes for a Copic Blending Challenge at Simply Scrapping Crafts.   If  would like to learn how to color with your Copics, Lisa Futch, a Copic Certified Designer, is currently offering a FREE weekly instruction on Copic Coloring and each week follows with a Challenge based on the technique you learned that week.  This is the card I created for this challenge based on the Week 2 Video that Lisa created for the group!  If you have been dying to learn how to color with you Copic, then please come on over and join Lisa's Group and you too, can take part in the instructional videos and her weekly challenge.  I used the "Flick" blending method for my card and it's a coloring/blending method that I really like.  You can create any type of Paper Craft project for the challenge - Hop on over and give it a try!!

And my last card today was created  for the "WILD WEDNESDAY'S card Challenge" also hosted over at Simply Scrapping Craft and this challenge was with to use GREEN on your project and I did just that by creating this cute little Easter Card!
And now I'm pretty beat and this will likely be it for me today!  Tomorrow I hope to work on a new card for the Card Challenge over as Simply Scrapping Crafts  and this week's  challenge includes a sketch.  I hope you'll join and create your sketch card too!  Click Here to Join the "Card Group".  Here is a sneak peak of the "Sketch" you can use for inspiration for you card --

It'll be FUN!  I hope to see you there!!

Have a great night and as always.....HAPPY CRAFTING!!

A Little About Me

Purple is my favorite color and ironically - Purple is the Awareness Ribbon color for Fibromyalgia, a chronic illness I lived with for over 18 years. In, March of 2015, I was diagnosed with Stage IV Lung Cancer which had spread to my brain. I am fighting hard to win this battle and determined to beat it. I have a amazing Oncology Team, along with the LOVE and SUPPORT of all my family and friends! I am a Mom to two grown sons, Alex is now 25 and married to Acacia, my wonderful new "Daughter" and the parents to my precious Grand-Daughter Harper, and Brian amazingly is 30 and now lives in San Diego. My boys are the greatest loves of my life. Hubby, me and our two "Pups", Skye and Zeva, two adorable Chiweenies we rescued in 2012, all live very happily in a tiny coastal town in Massachusetts. We lost our dear "Scoutie", a Purebred Dachshund, in April of 2015. I still miss him and will forever cherish his memory. I am an avid card-maker and totally love every minute I can spend in my craft room. It's become my passion, a wonderful way to relax and is my form or "therapy".
