Happy Saturday -- Easter Card day!

....Today, we are expecting MORE nasty weather to roll in and this time it's going to be a "Nor'easter" rain storm and may last into Monday -- UGH!  Heavy rains, strong winds and a change of coastal flooding!  Not good at all!  I just HOPE that this time the winds are not as damaging as the last storm and also that we do NOT end up losing our power again.  That was just awful and that last thing I want to go through, for a very long time...!    Wish me luck...I'm terrible without electricity!

For now, I am relaxing and and working on some Easter Cards.  This first card I am also entering into a few challenges.  I'm a big fan of Magnolia images and this stamp "Tilda with Tulips" is one of my favorites and also perfect for an Easter Card.

I am entering her into a few different challenges and I hope you'll all take time to visit each of the blogs and also join me and make some cards to submit!  There are some amazing cards on these blog...totally beautiful and perfect for inspiration!  ENJOY!
I'm off now to practice more coloring and see if I can finish up another card?  My son, Brian wants me to go and visit him at the restaurant and have lunch, but I'm too tired and sore to make the effort to go out.  I also need to pick-up an RX too, but I think I'll ask Alex to get it for me on his way home.  I'm torn, because I kind of want to go to lunch, but I's sore and kind of beat today...?  What do do?  Plus, it's starting to get very windy, and I'm sure the rain will be coming soon, so I think it's best if I stay put !

   Happy Crafting,

A Little About Me

My photo
Northeastern, Massachusetts, United States
Purple is my favorite color and ironically - Purple is the Awareness Ribbon color for Fibromyalgia, a chronic illness I lived with for over 18 years. In, March of 2015, I was diagnosed with Stage IV Lung Cancer which had spread to my brain. I am fighting hard to win this battle and determined to beat it. I have a amazing Oncology Team, along with the LOVE and SUPPORT of all my family and friends! I am a Mom to two grown sons, Alex is now 25 and married to Acacia, my wonderful new "Daughter" and the parents to my precious Grand-Daughter Harper, and Brian amazingly is 30 and now lives in San Diego. My boys are the greatest loves of my life. Hubby, me and our two "Pups", Skye and Zeva, two adorable Chiweenies we rescued in 2012, all live very happily in a tiny coastal town in Massachusetts. We lost our dear "Scoutie", a Purebred Dachshund, in April of 2015. I still miss him and will forever cherish his memory. I am an avid card-maker and totally love every minute I can spend in my craft room. It's become my passion, a wonderful way to relax and is my form or "therapy".
