Challenge Cards!!

Today, I have a very quick little post to share two new cards that I've been working on for a variety of new challenges.

My first card was inspired by a variety of challenges and the main theme, came from today's  new CAS Challenge over at 'The Outlawz'.  It's based on a Recipe that I have included here, so that you'll see what I  had to go on when I started.  This is the card receipt for the challenge -

CAS RECIPE
1. At least 2 punches
2.  The Color Blue
3.  One sheet of plain cardstock
(this means one piece of cardstock must be unstamped, not embossed or patterned)
My Card

My 'Imagination' CAS card is also being submitted to these new challenges and everyone is welcome to play along:
I am finding that I am loving this style (Clean and Simple) of cards more and more each week.  This week my card was very easy to make and my main focal point is my sentiment, a digital sentiment that I bought from Rainbow Echo Designs.  I totally enjoy Ann's Sentiments and own many  -- they work perfectly for this style of card in she has a variety of themes.

My second card was also created for a variety of challenges and features a cute little Bunny from Bugaboo Stamps, who are sponsoring the current "Embellishment Challenge" over at CDAC (Crafter's Digital Arts Center)!

In addition to the challenge at CDAC,  my 'Some Bunny Loves You' card is also being submitted to these new challenges:
And that's it for now!  I am also hoping to work on one more card today and that will be for this week's Sketch Challenge over at the Stars & Stamps Blog - which you'll find HERE!   This is a copy of our sketch for this week and I hope you'll all hop on over and join the fun and create some cards for 'Operation Write Home'.

A Little About Me

My photo
Northeastern, Massachusetts, United States
Purple is my favorite color and ironically - Purple is the Awareness Ribbon color for Fibromyalgia, a chronic illness I lived with for over 18 years. In, March of 2015, I was diagnosed with Stage IV Lung Cancer which had spread to my brain. I am fighting hard to win this battle and determined to beat it. I have a amazing Oncology Team, along with the LOVE and SUPPORT of all my family and friends! I am a Mom to two grown sons, Alex is now 25 and married to Acacia, my wonderful new "Daughter" and the parents to my precious Grand-Daughter Harper, and Brian amazingly is 30 and now lives in San Diego. My boys are the greatest loves of my life. Hubby, me and our two "Pups", Skye and Zeva, two adorable Chiweenies we rescued in 2012, all live very happily in a tiny coastal town in Massachusetts. We lost our dear "Scoutie", a Purebred Dachshund, in April of 2015. I still miss him and will forever cherish his memory. I am an avid card-maker and totally love every minute I can spend in my craft room. It's become my passion, a wonderful way to relax and is my form or "therapy".
